10th Nov 2025 (7 mo. ago)Avoid Hills Estate Agency at All Costs!! I have spent the past year being over-promised and massively under-delivered by Hills. The experience has been nothing short of a disaster. There has been a complete failure in communication from start to finish. I was repeatedly given “estimated completion dates” that never materialised, followed by weeks even over a month of no contact whatsoever. Because of their poor advice, I am now over £2,000 out of pocket. The unprofessionalism is staggering. Staff openly discussed the seller’s personal finances, telling me the seller “had no money” and describing them as “an absolute nightmare customer.” Imagine paying Hills thousands of pounds to sell your property, only for them to bad-mouth you to the buyer. Completely unacceptable. Given this behaviour, it’s no surprise there are so many negative reviews online. I submitted a formal complaint and received a response from Charlotte today no empathy, no apology. If this is how a director behaves, it’s clear why the rest of the staff follow suit. If you value your time, your money and your sanity, avoid Hills like the plague!! Useless!!

She is professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to help with any questions or concerns. The property generated plenty of interest and ultimately achieved a sale price above the asking price, which was a fantastic result.<br><br>A special thank you to Jess for making the onboarding process straightforward and stress-free, as well as providing an accurate valuation from the outset. I’d also like to thank Lynn for her support and assistance throughout the sale.<br><br>However, my biggest thanks go to Catherine, who truly went above and beyond during what became a lengthy legal process. Unfortunately, the solicitors caused significant delays and dragged the transaction on for several months, but Catherine was relentless in chasing all parties involved and keeping the process moving forward. As we were living in Cardiff and could not easily travel back to Manchester for viewings, they went above and beyond by arranging and sending us a detailed video tour of the property. 24th Jun 2026 (11 days ago)Dealing with Reeds Rains has been great from start to finish, the opposite of the Private Sector Leasing Scheme with Salford Council, Reeds are highly recommended, Sophie is tremendous,<br>Salford Council are the worst local authority in the Country.
15th Jun 2026 (20 days ago)The initial meeting to value the property, the subsequent meeting to take photos and the organising of the paperwork was great, we were impressed, which was why we went with them. Unfortunately, after 14 weeks on the market they had only got us 2 viewings and their communication to us was a bit hit and miss, so we decided to go with a different agent. They weren’t the right agent for us on this occasion.

Hardly ever had issues resolved (pest, mould and draught), constantly missed/ignored emails, attempted to raise rent without following correct procedure, attempted to overcharge for final rent and unlawfully instructed us to book pest control ourselves instead of landlord doing it as a business to save money. Do not rent the Montondale property and avoid this business.
28th Aug 2025 (10 mo. ago)Overall a mixed bag of opinions, chris himself who does the show rounds is lovely but buying your first home is a bit of a minefield to say the least, We had two failed property's with them. 1st property where the seller pulled out because we wouldn't pay 3.6k towards HIS defective lease this went on for a few months and resulted on us missing the deadline of our tenancy end in our current property. The estate agents was not considerate of the situation & didn't offer anything else within our criteria and just went about their day knowing we'd still be open to further properties as we were staying in air bnb's and hotels at the time. They just re listed the property as "newly" on the market when in fact it had been listed for the best part of 6-8 months prior. The second property we went to attend a viewing in which they hadn't pencilled in and we had to call whilst being stood outside for 15 minutes. to which we was told we never confirmed even though we had written confirmation of both ourselves and themselves agreeing a time etc, We was then rushed during this viewing because they'd double booked. We went onto register interest in another property and just never received a follow up. We shown interest in this property more than once left vm's and emails. If you're thinking about selling i would not use them as they don't care about you at all & have probably scared many other potential buyers off as well. After a whole year we managed to find a house with another estate agents stress free, This house did not come with free mould, soiled floorboards, leaking roofs, Landlord special cover ups & the area was not mis sold as a nice area when in fact it gave shameless a good run for its money.

The staff have been wonderful to deal with, always kept myself updated throughout the whole process putting customer relations and quality first. The team was professional, friendly, and highly efficient throughout the entire process. They made everything smooth and stress-free, always keeping me informed and providing clear guidance along the way. Their communication was outstanding, with quick responses to any questions and a genuine willingness to help. The attention to detail and commitment to delivering a high standard of service really stood out. I would highly recommend Leaders Fallowfield to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy letting and estate agent. A truly five-star experience!

22nd Jun 2026 (13 days ago)The worst service ever, i have just rented a property from bentley hurst and i have faced the worst service ever i received the property in the most felthy way no one clean anything after the previous guest and they scam me by sending the inventory report before they handing me the key after i reported the cleaning situation they responded was wait and we will send the cleaner to clean the property i refused and left the key i asked them to clean the property and change the move in date , ofc i had to keep calling them as they haven’t updated me for 2 days , and tell now didn’t receive the key for my letter box or even an apology, they wont even deserve a 1 star review, pay more than 5k for this property and the guarantor and dealing with this now ,even though he building concierge mention he received to many complaints on this agency, you don’t wanna rent from this agency
