I know sellers back out sometimes but they handled it awfully, we had to learn it from our onwards, they gave no, explanation or advice and showed zero sympathy. They left us off the market for months and we missed several equiries and lost our onwards due to their ineptitude. To make matters worse they were almost double the price of other agents.

6th Feb 2026 (6 weeks ago)Ten days before Xmas I had the onerous task of asking tenants to leave as I had major structural problems in my house but trying to rehouse someone at that time added to my problems. I called into Winkworths to ask the impossible question but was met with welcoming smiles and a solution to my problem.<br><br>I can recommend the new owners Rob and Abbie and their longstanding member of staff, Tom for all their positiveness and help in what appeared to be an impossible situation, particularly at that time of the year. Well done Winkworths and Good Luck with your new venture. I will certainly go back again.- 23rd Jul 2024 (1 year ago)Winkworth were incredibly helpful throughout the process. The buyer and his solicitor messed me around forever at a difficult time for me. Without Winkworth 'on my side', I might well have given up and taken the flat off the market. They always took my calls, always followed up, always got back to me - that made the difference.

2nd Dec 2025 (15 weeks ago)Not the greatest experience. Edit: I’ve just seen the response from the business and they’ve actually lied (clearly got customers mixed up), this is not what happened and I’ve now changed my review to a 1 star. Would definitely not recommend, what a shocking service.
8th Apr 2025 (11 mo. ago)Joe Edwards at Oliver’s Town was very helpful when my son was looking at buying in the Camden area. He is a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable estate agent who gave a lot of his time, with a nothing is too much attitude. With so many estate agents in London doing a very average job, Joe stands out as breath of fresh air. Thanks and well done Joe! 10/10.
26th Jan 2026 (7 weeks ago)Really strange and rude estate agent, walked in with my wife a few weeks ago and spoke to an elderly man Jonathan who manages this place. He was extremely rude and judged us on our appearance - we weren't dressed like "Hampsteaders" and said he'd follow up with properties and never did. I work in Private Equity alongside my wife, we would have happily closed on a place and made them a good cut. We will go somewhere else.

I let my property out with them for nearly 5 years, and I'm still waiting in January for the final month's rent to be paid back to me from the tenant leaving in mid-November last year. On top of that the tenant left the flat in a complete state and I'm yet to receive any deposit money back to compensate. Calls/emails to the agency are being ignored.

Adams advice on the selling price, marketing strategy and offers has been excellent and a true testiment to his knowldge. I get a very personal service you can only find in an Independent agency. I would recommend anyone wishing to sell to contact Adam or Shannon at Langford Chase.

22nd Jun 2024 (1 year ago)I highly recommend Stones Residential. They made the process of finding a flat easy and efficient. I particularly want to thank Shayan for his help throughout the process. He has been incredibly helpful and responsive, as well as being friendly and patient. Again, highly recommend!- 26th Sep 2022 (3 years ago)This is the worst service I’ve ever received from any company. Since Day 1, they don’t reply usually when you’re asking questions. They postpone many things and lied about some issues. For Example, our fridge has been broken because it was old we’ve asked them a couple of times and they said they’ve already ordered a new one but we could see when they’ve ordered. You need to chase them for anything. The most disappointing part was, they’ve tried to charge the thing or issues that have been already damaged from the deposit I paid. It’s been almost 2 months and they didn’t refund my deposit. I said ok for many things just for the sake to receive our deposit back. They’ve even tried to charge 275£ for cleaning and I said OK even my flat was not much clean when I moved in. They tried to charge cutlery which belongs to a former tenant or an already broken clothes hanger. When we asked for the kitchen stuff or replacing these things they said “ These are personal things, and we cannot supply” but at the end of the tenancy, they tried to charge. I strongly DON’T suggest working with this agency. If you can find another place to move in go with them. They are the worst! They don’t do what they need to do. I’d like to suggest taking a photo of every inch of the flat! Every single detail is just for keeping a record on your own. As I said don’t work with them, if you need to take photos and keep send them for recording.

4th Dec 2025 (15 weeks ago)BE CAREFUL! As a tenant this company are a nightmare, they don't care for you at all. So slow to respond to queries, unprofessional and misleading. When we first moved in the flat was in a complete mess - dust, grit, mould, hair and even used underwear hiding underneath the kitchen sink. They insisted a professional clean had taken place which was obviously a lie, on moving out of the property we cleaned to professional standard and have been footed with a large bill, including random over-priced costs. Several problems with our property during our stay which they were slow to respond to including the balcony having a massive and dangerous hole in it which caused leaks into the downstairs neighbour, and meant we couldn't use during the hot weather, they were so slow to get someone in for this and when they did he did a bodge job that will rot in a couple years time, made a complete mess of our flat and the communal area in the process. Never responded to our requests to fix the window that had rotted. Unorganised - when showing the properties to other tenants they had the wrong keys with them so I came round to let them in, also didn't communicate clearly on when viewings were cancelled so had me waiting at home when nobody arrived. It's so common to have useless agencies, but we now are with a lovely company who really care for us, are quick and reasonable - it does exist!
