6th Oct 2026 (21 days ago)I had a great experience with Northwood. Buying my mum's flat was an absolute pain with solicitor issues and landlord issues, however, Northwood were amazing throughout. If you ever have to navigate a difficult and stressful situation, Leanne is exactly the kind of person you want trying to resolve your problems - she is friendly, sympathetic, but will not let issues drop and pursues them relentlessly when necessary. Everyone else we dealt with was also great and very helpful. Of course we weren't really the customers but very glad that our seller picked Northwood and I will definitely use them next time I'm selling a property.

SO I didn’t get any viewings for 10 week as google does not recognise home on any search engine it Could be found under properties but buyers only looking for bungalows could not find us!! I found out by distant friend trying to find bungalows online. They relaunched but missed summer buyers. Tied into 20week contract and cost me £354 to cancel -nightmare scenario for me.

From the first meeting regarding photographs, videos etc, everything went through very quickly thanks to the professionalism of the staff involved. This resulted in a very quick sale which is what everyone wants when selling their homes. We chose to use one of their partnered Solicitors, Premier Property Lawyers. A good experience all round. Many thanks to everyone involved. We'd definitely recommend.

20th Oct 2026 (7 days ago)Terrible experience trying to buy a property through Hive Estates. We were set on buying a Sandyford flat and ready to offer significantly above asking price, but there was a serious rising damp problem in the hallway, which they initially tried to hide when we viewed the property. It had been superficially patched so we asked for details on the diagnosis of the problem and any work that had been done. The estate agent who showed us round had zero information on the property, for the issue or more broadly. The wider team refused to share any further information, saying the owner of the flat had "no idea" what the issue was diagnosed as and what the work, and that there was no documentation because a "property manager had fixed the issue" not the owner.<br><br>They also lied initially. They said that the issue had only been fixed three weeks ago, hence the smell of damp throughout the property, but when we spoke to someone on the phone they said it was fixed 10 months prior.<br><br>We actually made clear that the damp wasn't a dealbreaker, and that we just needed to go round with a surveyor or even just a damp metre - they blocked us and wouldn't allow it.<br><br>Everyone we dealt with seemed fresh out of school and were winging it. I struggled to get in contact even when putting an offer in and had to ring multiple times a day.
