16th Mar 2026 (2 days ago)Chancellors were solid throughout my first house purchase. The process is long and stressful by design (thanks, UK property market), but the team were responsive, communicative, and didn't do the thing where they ghost you for two weeks then act surprised you followed up. One specific thing that stood out: they marked the property as sold on all the portals as soon as my offer was accepted. Sounds minor, but I'd had another agent refuse to do this during a previous purchase attempt, which left the door open for competing offers. Chancellors just... did it, without being asked. That kind of small thing tells you a lot about how an agent actually operates. Would use them again. Genuinely.

9th Jul 2023 (2 years ago)Would not recommend this estate agents. I had to chase them for feedback every time (however, only had 7 viewings in 4 months!) didn’t hear from them at all for 7 weeks! NO communication at all!! Arranged viewings with totally unsuitable prospective buyers (e.g. a lady with an electric car who wanted to install an electric hook up when there is no driveway-on street parking). Felt forgotten about as the office wasn’t in our town. Worse than disappointing.

19th Jan 2026 (8 weeks ago)We chose Cridlands because they are a smaller local estate agent who offered a very personal approach. We can only say ‘amazing’ from start to finish . A very smooth process and the whole staff work so hard to make it smooth . We felt that not only did they sell the house but they were totally approachable and able to answer any questions we had and offer various support through different processes . We would like to thank them for all their work, support and help. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for someone to sell their property. If we ever sell again we wouldn’t hesistate to go with them again . Thank you .

They found me great tenants, walked alongside me through the process of getting flat ready for rental so smoothly, and I can honestly say I sleep easy knowing that they are managing the property. 7th Mar 2026 (11 days ago)Living abroad necessitates us having a fully managed service for our house with Scott Fraser, we are therefore reliant on the relationship we have with our property manager to keep us updated and to act on our behalf as & when the need arises. For the past year or so, we have had the good fortune to have Simon Butt as our property manager. During this time Simon has displayed professional, courteous, knowledgeable and very pro-active attributes. We had the misfortune to have issues with a tenant who instigated an early termination that eventually had to go through arbitration. Simon provided us with excellent support during the whole process & provided a wealth of documented evidence to the arbitrators to backup our case, resulting in the positive outcome of our claim. I have exchanged e-mail messages & spoken on the telephone with Simon numerous times since he became our property manager. He is equally adept at written & verbal communication. His whole persona displays a high level of empathy & genuine willingness to help, he has a way of making any issue seem manageable and truly has gone that "extra mile" to ensure that we have been totally happy with & have fully understood the information he has provided. Having Simon as our property manager has given us a trusted, professional & friendly point of contact for all rental matters regarding our property & tenants. In the 14 years that we have been landlords, we have dealt with numerous estate agents & property managers, I have never before felt as comfortable with or experienced the level of support & commitment that we receive from Simon. Thank you Simon for everything you have done & continue to do.

16th Feb 2026 (30 days ago)We found the branch very organised and helpful. The company has a good communication system that keeps you up-to-date with developments. Once we found a buyer, they seemed eager to get the deal settle regardless of the low offer. This left us wondering why pay a higher commission when any other estate agency would have sold the property too for a much lower asking price. Anyway, we sold the property and it was all trouble free.
3rd Nov 2025 (19 weeks ago)If it wasn't for Max and his team I am not sure I would have managed my sale and purchase. We had a rough time with Solicitors and Max guided us through all of it. I have already passed his details onto friends and family and they are also very pleased with the service they are getting. 4th Feb 2025 (1 year ago)College and county has looked after two rental houses for me for several years and they take all the hassle out of my life. They select great tenants and give regular feedback on how the letting is progressing, they also deal efficiently with the normal household problems like drains, appliance breakages and keep me informed with me having to interrupt my day to sort them out. They have also negotiated HMO licences with the council on my behalf. I have had requests from other letting agencies but am not going to change. Thank you C&C
