It was a difficult process for me, but Ben and his team did absolutely everything to help the process. Very happy to be in my new forever home.

After 9 months dealing with your firm, 2 failed sales, a 3rd underway they may wish to understand my concerns and frustrations, particularly as I've had cause for numerous complaints during this time. I should have been able to give 4 - 5 stars, but the communication, performance and management of your Warminster branch has and continues to fall well below my expectations. Ref: JF_30BA12

I got Charlie as my property manager and she is just fabulous, her quick responses and information you need she will help you with everything. She is so kind that she supported us throughout the whole process of tenancy and moving in a new property and out of the previous Apartment, things were much easier to sort out with her help. I met other people at the office as well and they treated us very nicely. I am so happy to be able to get a property through them. I would highly recommend people to come and visit or seek help to get yours ????

12th Jun 2025 (1 year ago)We had an awful experience renting our house for 10 years with Strakers when we lived abroad. Our home turned from a beautiful place with a “wow factor” into a filthy mess with tens of thousands of pounds worth of damage under Strakers watch. After 5 years they replaced a competent manager with someone with zero experience and no common sense who told us that the place was in very good condition. We returned to find a huge mess. The Strakers agent is completely incompetent. Avoid Strakers if you wish to rent your home!
8th Jul 2026 (7 weeks ago)A last minute viewing of a property was arranged by Alyssia Norman, who escorted us around herself, answering all our questions (obviously well prepped on the house itself) and giving us excellent information of the local area & events.<br>It was a total surprise to us that she was a new addition to the agency - her enthusiasm and professionalism as a Sales Negotiator was really impressive.<br>Thank you so much.

3rd Aug 2026 (20 days ago)Working with Carter & May Estate Agents (Jake in this instance) was an absolute pleasure! Jake's knowledge and expertise in the Salisbury area was evident from our first meeting. Jake detailed the entire process including market trends allowing me to make informed choices that impacted positively on the marketing and subsequent quick sale of the property. Outstanding and timely communication meant I was fully informed throughout the process. From initial valuation to completing the sale it took approx 3 months. The C&M team were all helpful, efficient and more importantly demonstrated genuine care and support. I would highly recommend Carter and May if you are looking to buy or sell a property.

They were extremely quick to respond and kept us updated throughout the process. They were happy to manage the process as we wanted, with care and attention and secured us a new tenant in 10 days from first meeting to move in date. Above all, they were professional, courteous and respectful. I would definitely recommend Winkworth letting team!
19th Jul 2026 (5 weeks ago)I was approached by Mr Jack Chitty of Woolley & Wallis, who assured me that he could sell our house for the asking price or more. I’ve heard similar promises before from other companies, and they all left us disappointed, but Jack was different. I trusted him, and I’m glad I did.<br><br>From the very beginning, Jack was in constant communication, guiding us through what needed to be done and offering genuine support throughout the process. He is an amazing bloke to speak to, highly professional, yet able to share a joke when he could tell I was struggling. His manner made the whole experience far easier than I expected.<br><br>Not only did Jack deliver on his word, he sold our house for more than the asking price we had set. He also showed a level of care and commitment that went well beyond what you’d expect from a real estate agent. I genuinely feel that I’ve gained more than just excellent service; I’ve gained a brother.<br><br>I cannot recommend Jack Chitty and Woolley & Wallis highly enough.

13th Aug 2026 (10 days ago)Public Review – Strakers Trowbridge / Pickers Palmers Farm<br><br>I wish to record my extremely disappointing and shocking experience with Strakers Trowbridge regarding a property at Pickers Palmers Farm, Capps Lane, Heywood.<br><br>I live in Kent and am in the process of moving to the area. As I was unable to attend an initial viewing myself, I asked my sister to view the property on my behalf. Following her viewing, I decided to make an offer.<br><br>On Friday 7 August 2026, I offered the full asking price. I heard nothing back and, after chasing Strakers on Monday 10 August, I was advised by Chris that my offer was acceptable. I was also advised that I should perhaps travel to Wiltshire myself to view the property.<br><br>Taking this advice seriously, I travelled more than 250 miles to attend the viewing.<br><br>When we arrived, the developer met us and showed us around the property. However, during the visit it became apparent that the property I had made the offer on had already been sold. Instead, the developer was attempting to sell us another property.<br><br>What is particularly upsetting is that neither the developer nor the Strakers representative who was present made this clear to me before I travelled such a considerable distance. The Strakers representative was there and appeared to be fully aware of the situation.<br><br>I find the lack of transparency and communication extremely disappointing. If the property had already been sold, why was I not told before travelling over 250 miles? Why was I left believing that my offer was acceptable when, apparently, the property was no longer available?<br><br>I feel that my time, money and genuine interest in the property were not respected. The entire experience has left me feeling extremely let down and misled.<br><br>I would strongly question the level of communication and transparency demonstrated by both Strakers Trowbridge and the developer in this situation. This was an incredibly frustrating and unnecessary experience, and one I would not expect from a professional estate agent.<br><br>Absolutely shocking treatment from both Strakers and the developer and doesn't even deserve the 1 star, shame on you!
