31st Dec 2025 (11 weeks ago)D R Kivell, in our experience, perform very well. We have been involved with them on two fairly significant transactions, and have also recommended them to friends. On each occasion, the outcome has been significantly more successful than major, well known, prestigious firms, which seemed surprising? Their response times are far quicker than the major firms, too. I'm fairly cynical about estate agents in general, as they tend to make promises and predictions that they don't then actually achieve - but I can honestly say that D R Kivell, each time, have achieved what they promised, and in good time! David Kivell seems very professional - I'm from a legal and commercial property background, and I rather grilled him about whether his predictions were achievable, and he stuck to his guns, and achieved exactly what he'd said. They seem good at valuations, too. Peter Palmer seems more like a wise, experienced farmer, and therefore very friendly and helpful. And he's a good photographer. Geoff Lupton seems to be the very helpful and efficient guy who keeps everything on track. Based on our own experiences, I've formed a very high opinion of them.

Communication was clear throughout, and the team were always responsive, supportive and proactive. What could have been a stressful process was managed smoothly, with genuine care and expertise. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them

I received regular updates and advice and were able to answer any questions that I had. The whole team went that extra mile to ensure things went smoothly and I felt completely assured through the process. I would recommend them without hesitation.
- 25th Feb 2025 (1 year ago)Confident but not arrogant agent. Good knowledge of the area and was able to until confidence in me that she will do all she can to sell the property. Once on the market she arranged viewings very quickly, making me feel confident she is pushing my house to buyers and making it noticed. She provided good advice and guidance about offers leading to an asking price within and a bit above my expectations. She is proactive in the process of the sale now and I feel confident in her driving the sale to completion. Only draw back is the fee which is higher than all other agencies.

From the moment he arrived, he was polite and friendly, making the entire process comfortable. Aaron provided a thorough valuation of my house and presented a detailed comparison report that clearly explained his reasoning. Initially, I decided to go with another agent who valued my property higher. However, after only one viewing in a couple of months, I found myself having to reduce the price. This experience has made me reflect on my decision, and I now realise that Aaron's valuation was not only honest but also genuine. In hindsight, I appreciate Aaron's integrity and expertise, and I would confidently recommend him to others seeking property valuations. His approach and transparency truly stand out in a competitive market.

Communication was consistently excellent and I particularly appreciated the prompt feedback after each viewing. This information is surely of great interest to every vendor but my previous experience of other agents has sometimes shown an unacceptable tardiness in passing on this information. James and Stef managed to combine an appropriately personal touch with great professionalism so that I felt well cared for and absolutely confident that they had my best interests at heart throughout.
