We decided to switch estate agents to William H. Brown in Wakefield after receiving very few viewings with our previous agent, and it turned out to be the right decision! Our very first viewing resulted in an offer, which was fantastic. Unfortunately, the sale later fell through, through no fault of the agents, but thankfully we managed to get things back on track and secure another buyer. We did eventually agree to a reduced price to help achieve a quicker sale, as by that point we were more than ready to move!
We mainly dealt with Amy and Annette, both of whom were incredibly helpful, supportive and understanding throughout the process. When our first sale fell through, I must admit I went to pieces a little (or perhaps a lot!). We were quite far along in the process, had sold most of our belongings and packed up much of the rest, so the thought of starting all over again was overwhelming. Amy and Annette were very understanding and reassuring during what was a particularly stressful time.
I did feel that I was chasing for updates occasionally, although, in fairness, this was probably more down to my own eagerness to get everything moving than anything else. Once you've mentally moved house, packed half your life into boxes and are desperate to get out of there, patience isn't exactly your strongest virtue!
Overall, we were very happy with the service and would happily recommend Amy, Annette and the team at William H. Brown in Wakefield. I'm not planning on selling again anytime soon (once was enough for my nerves!), but I will be turning to them to help us find our next property. Hopefully, they'll be just as good at helping us buy our new home as they were at helping us sell our old one! Thank you team... Read more

 Blackpool Reeds Rain :
I honestly cannot praise Hayley Mackridge at Reeds Rains Blackpool highly enough. She is an absolutely wonderful lady and has been exceptional throughout the sale of my property. What has at times been a stressful and overwhelming process has been made so much easier by Hayley’s kindness, patience, professionalism and genuine care. She has gone above and beyond at every stage, most recently helping enormously to resolve an issue with a fire door, taking the initiative and doing everything possible to find a practical and affordable solution. Nothing ever feels like too much trouble. Hayley doesn’t simply provide excellent customer service — she genuinely cares about the people she is helping. I honestly don’t know what I would have done without her support. Reeds Rains are incredibly lucky to have her. Thank you so much, Hayley — you are an absolute star!... Read more

Only one viewing throughout the marketing period, we didn’t feel they pushed the property at all, we did a large reduction within the marketing time and received no feedback from the office even though it was promised, our point of contact switched half way through but nobody told us or introduced themselves, when we advised we were taking it off the market nobody made notes/acknowledged or followed it through, we had to chase when the property would be off the market and board removed and the office didn’t know what we were talking about, boards still here over 3 wks after it was removed from market....
