11th Oct 2025 (6 mo. ago)This agency is a joke. I caught the agent in our backgarden when he gave no notice. We were petrified and as single women it was a truely frightening experience. Stay away from them if possible. Truly awful

17th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.

30th Nov 2021 (4 years ago)The service and support that we received from Graham and Andrew was smooth and detailed throughout. Their personal, people-centred approach put us at ease and we felt confident that they would do the same for the buyers. Their knowledge of the local market is matched with national coverage via the online selling platforms. We live outside of the UK and they helped with factors that arise in this situation. We sold our house at above the price quoted by other estate agents whilst paying a commission significantly below what their competitors were asking for. All round, a fine experience and I have no hesitation in recommending them.

We encountered them when buying a house a few years ago and were impressed at their fairness in handling the buyer/seller balance. Hence tje decision to use them when selling. This last transaction fell at a difficult time and had some complications but they showed patience, persistence, courtesy and even humour. In brief, we trust them.

They have been knowledgeable and extremely helpful and made the whole selling process run smoothly with less stress. Dee was an immense help and was always available to solve issues and queries and I would happily recommend them to all.

Le Grys created an attractive marketing campaign that really highlighted the strengths and unique features of the house the photos and overall presentation were excellent. They also managed the viewings with great care and efficiency, giving me clear feedback after each visit. I highly recommend them to everyone looking to sell à property.

Communication was absolutely outstanding from start to finish—always quick to respond, incredibly proactive, Alex and Nancy kept me fully updated every step of the way. I always felt completely reassured and in the loop, which made the whole process so much smoother and far less stressful than I expected. They were also an absolute pleasure to deal with—friendly, professional, and genuinely went above and beyond to help wherever they could. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Truly excellent service! Thank you for helping us find our dream family home

It felt like she truly cared about us and the seller and she was always on hand to talk to us when we needed. 22nd Nov 2022 (3 years ago)As a purchaser, dealing with all members of the T&C team in Stamford throughout the viewing, negotiating and pre-contract phases was a thoroughly professional experience. When a Grade II listed property is involved, there are likely to be wrinkles. Still, Jan, in particular, was a highly responsive conduit between the seller and us, ensuring matters were attended to correctly and timely. The sale and contracts are now exchanged, with both parties happy - the exact definition of a good negotiation outcome.

The communication has been outstanding throughout, which has been key, and Steven was very responsive and proactive. The presentation of our house was fantastic, with beautiful photography and videos shared on the usual websites but also via social media. We would have no hesitation in recommending Carroll Estate Agents to anyone looking to sell their property.
