We learned so much from him, and his honest, genuine advice really stood out. We absolutely loved one of the properties we viewed, but rather than rushing us into a decision, David encouraged us to keep looking at other options to make sure we find the perfect home for us. That level of care and professionalism meant a lot.<br><br>David made us feel comfortable, supported, and never under any pressure. He has been by far the best estate agent, and we can’t thank him enough for all of his help and guidance. 5th Jun 2026 (30 days ago)We recently sold our property through Hamptons Fleet and have been very pleased with the service we received throughout. The process was not straightforward, as our original buyer's chain collapsed when they lost their own purchaser. The team handled this professionally, helped secure a new buyer and kept the sale moving forward. Jonathan was excellent from the outset, Caroline did a fantastic job progressing the transaction through a lengthy and detailed conveyancing process, and Martin and James were always available when needed. What stood out most was the wider team. Whenever we called the office, whoever answered took ownership of the query, followed things up and came back to us when promised. We always felt informed and supported. Selling a house is rarely stress free, but Hamptons Fleet made the process as smooth as possible and we would have no hesitation in recommending them.
23rd May 2026 (6 weeks ago)????? Libby, Mike, and the team at Bridges were outstanding — they didn’t just sell our house, they helped us find our forever home. Mike came to value our property and is genuinely one of the nicest people we have had the pleasure of working with. Honest and transparent - and very personable. We knew he and Libby would get get the job done. From the moment we listed, they had buyers through the door within days from their existing client base, resulting in 3 offers at or above asking price. On the buying side, Libby really listened to what we were looking for and, thanks to Bridges’ impressive portfolio, was able to secure us a first viewing on the exact street we’d had our eye on — and then went on to secure the property for us too. What made the whole experience so seamless was how well they managed both sides of the transaction. Libby is a fantastic negotiator, communicated clearly throughout, and went above and beyond organising follow-up viewings with our architect and surveyors. Always responsive, always professional. One of the best — if not the best — estate agents in Fleet. Couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

Paul in particular stood out — when we made an offer on a property, he genuinely listened to our reasoning and clearly articulated our position to the vendor. Unlike some agents, he made us feel understood rather than dismissed, and it was refreshing to deal with someone who truly got where we were coming from. The team continued to proactively share properties that matched what we were looking for, staying engaged and helpful throughout. Although we ultimately purchased a property not listed with them, we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mackenzie Smith — professional, friendly, and a cut above.
2nd Jan 2026 (6 mo. ago)We bought our house with Romans in Fleet in July 2025, after almost two years of searching and working with several agencies in different areas. Once we decided to focus on Fleet, Romans truly stood out. Special thanks to Charlie and Matthew, who were outstanding throughout the process. Communication was fast and proactive, and their support during negotiations was excellent. Thanks to their efforts, we achieved a very good price reduction, which played a key role in making the purchase happen. They were also very helpful in arranging multiple viewings to suit our needs. The only area that could be improved is the move manager role. Unfortunately, this part of the process was more stressful than helpful. Communication around completion and moving day (keys, meeting point, and next steps) was unclear and came very late, which caused unnecessary confusion. At such a critical stage, clearer guidance and better coordination would make a big difference. That said, the Romans Fleet team stepped in to resolve the issues, and overall it was a genuinely positive experience. They helped facilitate the process for both buyer and seller, avoided unnecessary obstacles, and handled negotiations in a friendly, positive, and professional way. After some very poor experiences with other agencies in Fleet, I can confidently say that Romans Fleet is one of the best agencies in the area, and I would happily recommend them.

Henry was great throughout, excellent communication which helped make everything run smoothly. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, from answering our questions to chasing things up on our behalf.<br><br>Henry was really good at taking our feedback on board after viewings and quickly got a sense of exactly what we were looking for. Once we found it, he provided helpful recommendations without being overbearing, which we appreciated.<br><br>We're really happy with the house we ended up with and feel that Henry played a big part in getting us there. We'd happily recommend him and the team at McCarthy Holden to anyone going through the buying process.

We didn’t have to chase them and they helped us with chasing solicitors. They kept us well informed throughout the whole process, were always friendly when we contacted them and made a stressful process far less stressful! Plus they work really cohesively as a team and if our main contact was ever unavailable, the rest of the team were helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend Nicholsons to anyone - brilliant service. Alex was our main contact and he was fantastic!
