4th Nov 2025 (19 weeks ago)Alyson took over selling our house after we had problems with the previous agent. She was recommended to me by a neighbour and it was a difference of night and day! The previous agent hardly contacted us and appeared disinterested in the house, ignored our complaints, was completely unprofessional by bad-mouthing another local agent (in writing!) and tried to talk us into accepting a far lower offer than we wanted. Alyson, on the other hand, is the complete opposite of this agent. She is entirely professional and worked extremely hard. Even when things went a bit off the rails when an offer was withdrawn, she went right back to work and got us the price we were looking for. We were kept informed every step of the way. She was never unreachable. The previous agent may have been cheaper but it showed. You get what you pay for! I have no hesitation in recommending Alyson and Alexander Taylor Estate Agents to everyone who may be planning on selling their house in the future.

3rd Feb 2026 (6 weeks ago)Gregory Henry helped me apply for my first mortgage. Gregory was incredibly attentive, friendly and helpful during this process. He always helped to ease any of my worries I had, as well as answer any questions I had . Greg is incredibly easy to get on with and is always available when you need him. He definitely made my process 110x easier and I'm grateful I had Gregory to guide me through this process! I would definitely recommend coming here if you are looking for a smooth mortgage process and where the staff are truly catered to helping you as much as they can.

On both occasions, the team was exceptionally personable, supportive and attentive. They consistently went above and beyond, never making anything feel like too much trouble. Selling the family home was particularly emotional and throughout the process, the team demonstrated genuine kindness and understanding, which made an otherwise difficult experience much more manageable. Every member of the team played a part in the sale. It felt like working with an extension of the family as they all knew who I was and were able to assist promptly and effectively. I wholeheartedly recommend Strutt and Parker to anyone seeking an efficient, effective, supportive and compassionate estate agent in Edinburgh.

Emails are sent in a patronising and rude tone. It used to be if there was an issue it was sorted asap but now everything takes forever. Thankfully I won't have to as I bought a property but I'd never rent through them again and I'd never recommend them.

5th Mar 2026 (13 days ago)Very unimpressed with this company.Frlt they were all promise with no substance, made several assertions to get our business which we found to be inaccurate.Did not listen to us throughout and did not respond well to feedback. Sorry to say but there must be many better agents out there if a fair assessment is made.

From the outset, communication was prompt, clear, and consistent, and we were kept well informed throughout the entire process. They were always at hand by phone and email. The local office very useful to be able to pop in when needed. Our first meeting with Lyndsay was for the valuation. It was far more than just putting a price on the property, she took the time to understand our needs and provided thoughtful, informed advice about the process ahead. Her approach struck a balance between profession and a personal touch. Elaine was equally helpful, always quick to respond and offer reassurance when needed. With young children and pets, coordinating viewings could have been challenging, but the team made it easy. They worked with us to create a schedule that suited our routines and always provided plenty of notice. The photos and floorplan were handled by a professional photographer who did an excellent job with both the photography and floorplan. We were very pleased with how the property was presented. Communication was one of the standout aspects of the experience. We received regular updates on viewings, and all materials were reviewed with us first. The team were considerate in choosing how to communicate, using email when appropriate and picking up the phone when needed. They liaised efficiently with all parties involved and helped ensure a smooth process. Most importantly, we felt genuinely supported by a team that listened, guided us thoughtfully, and remained fully engaged from start to finish. No impersonal web portal, just real people, ready to help. The house sold quickly, and we couldn’t be happier with the way NEST handled the sale.- This agent doesn't have any reviews

9th Dec 2025 (14 weeks ago)At Bohome, Gary, Sharon and the team have a very personal way of dealing with you, more like another member of their team than a customer. The photographer used is also superb and the pictures/video came out really well. Friendly, helpful and informed they explained everything well. They demonstrated open communication with both me as a seller and my buyers. Their use of social media was really helpful in the advertising process. My house sold very quickly, within a few days of being on the market. I would 100% recommend Bohome to support the sale of your house. I will use them again if I decide to move again. Helen, Hamilton

After a disastrous start with another estate agent which almost lost me the house I really wanted to buy, I instructed Century 21 and Jason pulled everything together. Jason got my property sold very quickly in an urgent situation working late into the night to get my property listed and negotiated my purchase so that everything was held together, despite various difficulties along the way, and I got my dream home. He is extremely proactive and responds quickly to messages seven days a week and outside normal working hours. I cannot thank him enough for his hard work, and dedication in getting my sale and purchase over the line. He is truly passionate about his work and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.
