22nd Apr 2026 (17 days ago)All of the staff at Irving’s are so friendly, approachable and professional. Over the last 9months I have sold a property, purchased a property and rented a property, all through Irving’s. The Lettings Team have always been responsive and helpful to any problems that cropped up and got any issues sorted really quickly. Emails are responded to really quickly which is always reassuring. I wouldn’t hesitate to either rent my property through Irving’s or recommend them as a letting agent if you are looking for an agent to let a property through.
13th Dec 2025 (21 weeks ago)5 stars aren't enough to rate the experience I had today. :) Moving home can be very stressful, but Eleni from the Lymington branch was an absolute star and made it the best experience I've had in years. Eleni was very accommodating, knowledgeable, and her positivity was absolutely contagious. I started the experience with high anxiety, and feeling like if I not only found my dream home but also a "friend". I lived in 6 different countries, moved over 20 times and this has been by far the best experience out of all of them. Couldn't recommend the services more.

Josh in particular was amazing from start to finish of the buying process getting involved in every detail to make sure that we had covered all bases. It is so refreshing to deal with a team that really know what they are doing and go over the top to give you the best experience possible. Even when it came down to solicitor issues, Josh was the first to put his hand up and track down the issues and solve them immediately. I know I can trust such an amazing team and will definitely pass over additional opportunities to Tailor Made in the future as when dealing with so many customer issues across many vertical sectors, Tailor Made have very much stuck to the basic and right principles of putting the client first and making the whole experience a professional and uplifting one. 21st Apr 2026 (18 days ago)Selling our parents' home with Forum was an excellent decision. We hoped we would have a supportive estate agent and we were not disappointed. From the first meeting Martin was enthusiastic about selling the property, shared very useful advice, understood the sensitivity required following a recent bereavement and was indeed very supportive. The photographs presented the house and garden beautifully and we were very happy with the brochures. He provided feedback following the viewings which we took on board and it was this advice, that I believe, clinched the deal. Working with Martin motivated me to keep moving forward and change things within the house to appeal to a wider audience. Communication via WhatsApp ensured we knew when viewings would be happening, and speaking on the phone was also really important, to share information and ideas. I also spoke with Ashley a couple of times which I found very helpful. Martin's enthusiasm and positivity about the house and it's potential ensured the perfect family bought the property and we are delighted with how it has all worked out. Thank you.

11th Nov 2022 (3 years ago)We were recommended Fahrens by friends who had used them before. Fahrens, especially Zak who we sold our property with were absolutely fantastic. We sold our flat and bought a house at the height of the pandemic in 2020/2021 with a newborn baby, such a stressful time but made less so by Zak. He was always there to answer questions, emails etc and was a great support. All the team at Fahrens are so lovely and never make you feel rushed when calling. They even helped us out when there was a leak in the flat above ours whilst we were on holiday by going to the flat on a Sunday to investigate. I can’t thank Fahrens and Zak enough for everything they did for us at that time. They sent our newborn a lovely card and present when she was born too. Estate agents that go above and beyond!

25th Feb 2025 (1 year ago)Awful Estate Agents made a sale more stressful never kept us updated , did not carry out their promised, often gave wrong information, would not check rest of chain - in the end we spoke to Charters (who we purchased through) who we great - updated us weekly - Sold our property in January 2024 and finally moving today

22nd Apr 2026 (17 days ago)I have been their tenant for four years, during which I have seen a systematic agenda to lie, cheat, deceive, and extort. From the beginning with their adverts, where they say the property is newly renovated, except maybe this was true 10 years ago, to the end with the deposit, it's all lies, bullshit, and theater. They present it as legitimate through bureaucracy, procedures, and landlords. The landlord has hired them to do all the work that they keep saying they are always going to the landlord for. Always pushing for renewal of contracts with higher price, even when your contract is neither close to ending, nor you need a new contract. Always trying to lull you into agreeing, saying everything is ok, it's just standard practice, no need to worry. I was hoping it will all end when I move out, but I was very badly wrong. I'm fighting to get my deposit back. I moved out at the end of June, and from the way they were setting things up, and how things started to go, I started to get a very bad feeling. They have been scheming again in order to take nearly all of my deposit. After waiting 26 days, they came up with a fabricated set of charges, based absolutely on no grounds. Similarly with my other three housemates. I knew they will try to take some money, so I made sure there is nothing that they can hang on to, but they have exceeded all my expectations. They came up with a very large amount on made-up claims. They have provided no evidence of difference between the condition before and after, which would warrant the claim, because it does not exist. Almost all claims are false or not resulting from my tenancy, and if there is anything true, it should fall within fair wear and tear. I also made sure I am present at the final check out and handing over of the property, in order to discuss any issues they might want to raise. But they wanted me to stay outside the house. At the end they said everything looks ok. When I asked for confirmation of return of my deposit, they said the office will decide. A stark contrast from my previous move-outs, where someone comes, I give keys, they check, everything looks good, I get my deposit in few days. What is even more insulting, brazen, and absurd, is that they know that I have taken good care of the property. Throughout my tenancy I have even repaired things at my expense, because they would refuse to cover even the materials. I have left the property in better condition, than how I have received it. Getting into the details of each claim would be too lengthy, but as an example, they know that I'm the only person who have been cleaning the walkway, and maintaining the garden, and of course I left it in a good condition, yet they want to charge me for it. I have explained to them how every claim is baseless, and I can support almost everything with evidence, and have asked for the full return of my deposit. They are ignoring all of my arguments, and ask me to make them an offer for how much is acceptable for me to pay. I wish I had taken evidence of absolutely everything, but I just didn't expect that they would blatantly lie. They grossly abuse their unfair advantage in any way they can. Tenants agree to anything because of fear of retaliation. They don't want to risk having to move out, and they would not even submit a negative review on the internet, because they depend on them for references. Because I suspected this will happen, I asked a previous housemate what happened when he moved out. They charged him £150 for cleaning the floor, even though he cleaned and mopped it. No checks and balances provided. Later they fabricated them. He said he argued, but eventually he gave up, because it wasn't worth the stress they put him through. And I can say as well, what they put people through, and fighting them is very stressful, emotionally taxing and time consuming. These are heartless people who should not be allowed anywhere near conducting business in the UK. Edit: I got my deposit back. Hold on to your ground and don't submit to the demands and extortions.

Then once we view the property and put in an application, they state pets will not be accepted. They must get some form of commission per application…

7th Apr 2026 (5 weeks ago)We have just had what I can only describe as a traumatic experience with this estate agent, they are absolutely appalling. Daniel Lowry did the valuation which was ok. His wife Julie staged the house which was fine. Niche did the photography & they were great. Richard did all the viewings & he was great. Then we accepted an offer & Jeremy was assigned ’Sales Progressor’ which I assume is an ironic title because I have never encountered anyone so ill-equipped to progress anything in my life. His only discernible talent appears to be sending utterly pointless WhatsApps. We accepted an offer in July of 2025 & despite J telling us in September & October that we were about to exchange contracts, several times (but no other detail) our solicitor then informed us on November 4th that there had been ‘no written communication from our buyers buyer since July’. When we called J to discuss this he went from being defensive to aggressive - blaming absolutely anyone & everyone but taking no responsibility what-so-ever himself. He suggested it was the fault of our buyers, their solicitors, our buyers buyer, their estate agents…absolutely anyone but him! He told us that ‘you are not the only one to be lied to here, I’ve been lied to as well!!’ A breathtaking lack of self awareness & he ended the conversation not with an apology as we had expected, no - he told us our buyers estate agents had been ‘b - ———-ing him!’ I have had the misfortune of dealing with a number of unprofessional & untrustworthy individuals in my time but Jeremy & Daniel top them all! Daniel became involved in proceedings when it was clear that Jeremy had not been progressing our sale AT ALL. Unfortunately rather than apologise & try to smooth things over, Daniel took the same (baffling) stance that Jeremy had! It was all someone else’s fault, it was nothing to do with Property Assistant & he made no attempt to apologise. I really think they need to ask for a refund from the training company they use because this ‘take no responsibility or accountability what-so-ever’ position is not compatible with decent business practice. When we issued PA with a deadline for exchanging contracts, Daniel’s response was to completely ignore us & cease communication until the date that we had given when he sent us a WhatsApp telling us we needed to get rid of our buyers & they would find us a new one?! We finally parted company with them In the New Year & went on the market with Winkworth (who were excellent) & whom I would recommend. There is a truly hilarious element to this sorry tale - Property Assistant actually has the audacity to charge above the market rate in selling fees!!!! To call Property Assistant’s business practices unprofessional churlish & immature would I fear be unfair to unprofessional churlish & immature people. *PLEASE DON’T LEARN FROM OUR MISTAKES - avoid this circus like the plague**
