22nd Oct 2026 (5 days ago)In my search for renting a property after having had no luck withh other agency's until i stumbled across an ad for a property that suited my needs and after having enquired through Brown and Merry i was contacted shortly after and they had arranged a viewing, on top of viewing i had made an on the spot query to view a second property and was greatly accommodated, after having made a decision between the two properties i contacted Brown and Merry and they promptly assisted me in the application process and made the process stress free, this is my second time in 5 years using Brown and Merry and would greatly recommend them for prompt and timely assistance and delivery of service.

6th Oct 2020 (6 years ago)I didn't use F&C as my Estate Agent, but having had such a great experience buying a house through them, they will certainly be the only firm I use in future. We went through 3 estate agents when selling our house and I could pick faults with all 3. However our interactions with F&C, and specifically Haydn and Kelly, were exemplary. They really do care about their clients and nothing was too much trouble for Haydn. He was prompt with enquiries and even through the Covid lockdown was available throughout (my firm furloughed everyone and didn't even tell me!!). Brilliant Estate Agents, wish I had used them from the start and will do in future and recommend them to friends. Keep up the good work ????

6th Oct 2026 (21 days ago)We really cannot recommend the lovely people at Alexander Lawrence highly enough. An absolute breath of fresh air compared to the service we received (read didn't) from Brown and Merry. The team's approach is professional beyond anything I've experienced. Realistic, honest expectations were set for the expected sales price, marketing and expected lead time. They do not make promises they cannot keep! Throw into the mix the unexpected loss of our daughter at an already stressful time. Sam seamlessly stepped up, took and maintained control of all the arrangements acroos the whole process and made sure that we were only contacted when absolutely necessary. What a godsend! We cannot thank Alexander Lawrence enough for their amazing support and down-to-earth management of our house sale. You can opt for a high-street estate agent, but save yourself the disappointment and contact Alexander Lawrence- Simply the Best!.png)

10th May 2022 (4 years ago)1st Choice a friendly family run business always maintained excellent communication which I really liked, if I had any problem weekday, weekend, or on a holiday, Kelly would reply back to my messages for support very quickly and same day. When I moved in to the property it was fully refurbished to an excellent standard. One time during winter I had a problem with my boiler with no heating for a few days. I made one call to 1st Choice and Mark dropped off some electric heaters, untill we got it fixed through Mear's. Anyone looking for property to rent then I would definatley recommend 1st Choice.- This agent doesn't have any reviews
