A buyer for our cottage was found pretty quickly from their list of quality clients, but the subsequent sale process was far from straightforward - listed buildings (as most are in Painswick) throw up all sorts of complications, such as missing consents & permissions that cut-price conveyancers pounce on with glee. James Murray and his colleagues displayed infinite patience, charm and diplomacy to keep the sale on track. Thanks to them the unncecessary legal obstacles were overcome and our sale went through for a good price in a weakening market.
