From start to finish, Tayla was extremely professional and genuinely supportive at every stage. She answered all of my questions patiently and promptly, often before I had even had the chance to chase, and she kept in touch with regular calls to update me and check how things were progressing. She was always polite, approachable and a pleasure to deal with. Buying a home can be a stressful process, but Tayla and the team at Satchels made it so much easier. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell. Thank you so much for all your help!

The process wasn't easy (a lot of bumps in the road) but Rosie was proactive and reassuring and we got there in the end! The rest of the team are great, and Naomi also went above and beyond when I had a issue. Thanks so much team!- 4th Oct 2026 (23 days ago)Good service from Satchells, but avoid Paul Taylor at Taylor Rose<br><br>Overall, I had a good experience with Satchells. The team were helpful, easy to contact by phone and did their best to keep things moving during what became a very difficult purchase.<br><br>Unfortunately, the vendor’s conveyancer, Paul Taylor, Consultant Solicitor at Taylor Rose, caused significant delays. There were multiple occasions where he was uncontactable for several days and enquiries were often not answered in full, resulting in repeated chasing and further delays. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise buyers to be cautious if he is acting for the vendor.<br><br>Satchells continued to chase where they could and helped get the purchase over the line. Overall a good experience with them despite a very frustrating purchase.

We got great advice about our potential buyers and situations so we could accept the best overall offer for us. Alex kept us informed throughout the whole process and we wouldn’t hesitate to sell through them again and recommend others to use them.

Joshua was really well informed about the local area and had the perfect plan of action to find the right buyers, multiple offers and achieved over asking. The portal and updates for viewings worked well for us this was seamless. Jake was also great in giving us help when it came to navigating the offers and next steps. The team kept in touch throughout the progress of the sale and we felt like everything was kept on track. The team were all friendly and enthusiastic throughout which was much appreciated. Thank you!

We not only sold our property with them, but bought our onward property too, and in both cases, the experience was easy, efficient and as smooth as buying a property could be. The thing that stood out though, was the level of communication. We always knew what was going on, and because they used WhatsApp, communication between us and the team was easy and convenient.<br><br>Would highly recommend Wellington Evans. There is clearly a good reason why you'll see their boards everywhere in Hitchin!
