7th Dec 2024 (1 year ago)Mr. Colin McKenzie, the Abbotfox Norwich office Branch manager/partner was most helpful to me. He knew the market well and ,quoted me the correct price for the property so I got offers quickly. It was a vacant property for some time and he connected me with an insurance agent that carried insurance on vacant properties, which on my own, I would have never been able to. He was prompt, and took photos of my place in less than 24 hours to expedite the listing of the property. He was diligent and fast, and arranged for the cleaning crew so the property could be shown asap. Later on, there were some obstacles with the gas meter installation etc, he went above and beyond and researched the different suppliers of the gas meters and installation and arranged for them to do the testing. He spent a lot of time on my little property. . He also had a very agile mind and formulated different scenarios and the pros and cons of each action taken, so that I could come to an easy and logical decision. He was very kind and understood my situation and the urgency of selling the property . Even when the buyer had difficult demands, Colin never gave up encouraging me to soldier on, and now today, the sale was completed and I am very happy and grateful to Colin.
31st Jul 2026 (23 days ago)From our very first interaction with Kane from Lettings at William H Brown in North Walsham, the level of service we received was outstanding. Moving home can be incredibly stressful at the best of times, but we were under immense pressure to find somewhere quickly due to the unsafe levels of mould in our previous property, which we're now in the process of taking up with our soon-to-be former landlord. Kane immediately understood our situation and genuinely seemed to care about helping us.<br><br>As we weren't able to attend the initial viewing, Kane promptly sent us a video tour of the property that had already been prepared. This made a huge difference, allowing us to assess whether it was suitable without delay and giving us the confidence to move forward when time was against us.<br><br>Throughout the entire process, Kane was exceptionally polite, professional, knowledgeable and approachable. Every question we had was answered quickly, clearly and honestly. If we had any concerns he always replied promptly and kept us informed, which made what could have been a very stressful experience so much easier.<br><br>One moment that really stood out was just before we moved in. We had ordered heating oil and had been told by the supplier to expect delivery in around 10 days, which actually suited us perfectly as we expected to have collected the keys and be properly moved in by then. Instead, the delivery was unexpectedly brought forward to the very next day, before we'd even been able to collect the keys. This meant the oil tank was still locked and we didn't have the key to allow the driver access.<br><br>I contacted Kane straight away, but it was already around 5.40pm. As an HGV driver I was away with work, my wife doesn't drive and at that stage we neither had the keys to the property nor the landlord's contact details. There was simply nothing we could do ourselves and we genuinely thought the delivery would have to be cancelled.<br><br>Within minutes, however, Kane replied to say he'd already spoken to our landlord, who was on her way that evening to unlock the oil tank so it would be ready for the delivery the following morning. Considering the time of day, we were genuinely amazed. It was a perfect example of Kane's dedication, professionalism and willingness to go above and beyond. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble and his outstanding communication throughout the entire process made what could have been an incredibly stressful move so much easier.<br><br>When we later viewed the property in person it was obvious how well he knew both the property and the process. There wasn't a question he couldn't answer. We never felt rushed or pressured. Instead, we felt listened to, supported and valued throughout.<br><br>Having experienced extremely poor communication and customer service from other local estate agents, particularly Abbotts and Sowerbys, Kane's professionalism was a breath of fresh air. His communication was excellent from start to finish. He always did exactly what he said he would do and we never once felt like we were chasing for updates.<br><br>It's also worth mentioning Kane's colleague Tom, who was equally helpful whenever Kane was unavailable or busy. Tom was polite, professional and always willing to help over the phone, making sure our questions were dealt with rather than simply leaving us waiting. It was reassuring to know that the whole lettings team was approachable and supportive throughout the process.<br><br>Kane is a real credit to William H Brown's North Walsham lettings team. His friendly manner, professionalism, knowledge, efficiency and genuine willingness to help made a difficult move so much easier. We honestly couldn't have asked for a better person to guide us through the process. If you're looking for a rental property in the North Walsham area, we couldn't recommend Kane highly enough. Thank you again for everything.

28th Jul 2026 (26 days ago)My email name is a result of using my email account for work. My name is Catherine Clark and I decided to sell my cottage in Sheringham through Arnolds Keys. They were the agent when we bought the property 27 years ago and we have had an excellent relationship with the letting arm of their business, Keys Holidays for well over 20 years, hence deciding to use them when it came time to sell. They produced an excellent brochure and found us a buyer within a fortnight of putting the cottage on the market. I particularly like the fact that, no matter who I spoke to in the Sheringham office, everyone had detailed knowledge of our property and could answer any question I, or indeed our buyer, had. Paul Winterbourne phoned me every week with a progress report, which I really appreciated. From our first request for a valuation, Clive Hedges and Sue Hall were helpful, professional and very approachable and this helpful 'can do' attitude from the whole team has persisted throughout the selling process which culminates in completion next Tuesday. They even sent me a copy of the 360 degree tour which was part of the details on Rightmove. I was delighted by this because the link to the tour on Rightmove was no longer available when tge details were removed from the site. We would not hesitate to recommend Arnolds Keys in Sheringham. We've had a totally positive experience, for which we are sincerely grateful.

And certainly on one occasion we thought that’s it’s not going to happen but joannaof sowerbys after sale section kept things holding on with some extraordinary lateral thinking during a chase for missing contract.

They dropped prices over a few weekends and gave the impression there was a problem but, the fact we sold it privately within days of making it available elsewhere only goes to show their lack of scruples.

1st Aug 2026 (22 days ago)I knew as soon as I met Ryan, Yasmin and Eleanor that Millers were the agent to help me sell my house and I wasn't wrong. They supported me to navigate a number of challenges along the way and did so with lots of care and patience. Even taking calls out of hours! Their warm and friendly approach meant that I could trust them from day one. I would 100% recommend Millers and I'd use them again without any hesitation at all.
