They sold my flat faster than I expected, were transparent and informative all through the process, answering all my questions with patience and good humour. Without Winkworth 'on my side', I might well have given up and taken the flat off the market. They always took my calls, always followed up, always got back to me - that made the difference.

19th Mar 2026 (7 weeks ago)Everytime I enquire about a property for sell this agent is advertising. The first question they ask is 'Do you have a property for sell'. They take all your personal details and at the end don't give a date for viewing. This happened on several occasions, I have now stopped enquiring. I believe this is a fishing tactic to get peoples information and if they can find a person who is looking to sell. I would not ever buy or sell a property through them.

So much so, that we also had Gareth sell our house recently. His honesty, professionalism and commitment is on a different level. One of the best selling experiences that I've had.
17th Dec 2025 (21 weeks ago)Absolutely terrible. I had the displeasure of renting with Spencer Munson from 2020 to 2023 and I am appalled at their service. Issues with our rented property was noted when we moved in, such as blown double glazing that needed to be fixed, but we never got that fixed in the entire 3 years. We needed ventilation in the bathroom and I chased them for 2 years to get an extractor fan fitted. We had contractor after contractor visit yet nothing was ever done because they couldn’t organise. We had one contractor come twice for the same thing! He was as confused as us and stated he sent his quote to them and never heard back till months later when he was asked to go and visit again! We ended up with horrid mould due to their negligence. Every time I would call or email I was told they were sorry for my wait and would check with management and call back. Yet I never ever got one call back!! I was sick and tired of chasing so I made them aware I would report them to the ombudsman and that is the only time I got a response! Even then, it took MONTHS to get an extractor fan and still nothing was done about the window. The boss himself came to our property because it had gone on so long. Originally he gave us a day and time and never showed. This happened twice which I can understand things happen, but he never attempted to call or email while we waited in. When he did arrive, he tried to tell us the property was so old it didn’t need an extractor fan. I brought my grandad around for this reason. He has been a builder all this life and knows the laws. The building is required by law to have some form of ventilation in the bathroom to combat the mould that was growing. The boss tried to give us the run around but it did not work. We decided to move out earlier this year as we were fed up of them and were given the option to self clean to a professional standard or pay for cleaners. We cleaned ourselves and I videoed the entire flat as proof, knowing what they were like. We spent 2 days scrubbing every inch, skirting boards, corners, lamps, oven, fridge, windows and it was spotless. We used their own checklist to make sure we had everything to their standard only to be told we would be charged £250 for a ‘further clean’ after moving out. So a waste of our time. Don’t give the option to self clean if you are going to charge for progressional cleaning regardless! My family friends helped who are actually CLEANERS, so when I say it was cleaned to a professional standard I mean it. We were then charged over £200 for ‘bathroom damages’. After probing into this I was told the ‘damage’ was a loose toilet roll holder that just needed tightening…and the seal on the shower door was coming apart. So they were wrongly charging us for wear and tear NOT damage. So £500 out of our deposit later we are finally out. Appalling management, morally wrong and from what I saw in 3 years, could not manage a property and keep them to a good standard. Avoid at all costs or be prepared to be spending your free time calling and chasing.

27th Apr 2026 (13 days ago)I rented an apartment managed by Blackstones Residential for almost two years. I was a student when I first moved in, so I feel that after this time I can now give a fair and unbiased review. Whenever I compliment them, I am comparing this experience with every other rental experience I’ve had. First of all, a big thank you to Salam, our property manager. He is extremely accommodating, professional, and experienced. During our contract extension and always, he was very considerate and always had our best interests in mind. When we first moved in, there were a few issues: the fridge was very loud, the oven fan stopped working, and the light fixtures were old and difficult to replace. Salam handled all of this quickly and efficiently, replacing everything with modern alternatives. When we needed additional wardrobes, he arranged that too without hesitation. Our landlord was super cool and generous too. Any issue we raised was treated with urgency. Contractors arranged by Blackstones would contact us within 24 hours, and in emergency situations, they were at the property within hours. There was truly no job too small, they did everything to make sure we were comfortable. It was clear that they genuinely cared about the property and gave helpful advice on maintaining appliances and the flat overall. Communication was excellent. We could reach them via WhatsApp, email, or phone, whatever was most convenient. Their office is also located very close to their properties, which made things even easier. The fact that they operate on Saturdays is a huge advantage. At the end of our tenancy, the full deposit was returned without any disputes or delays, just straightforward and efficient. I am honestly very grateful. This was the best rental experience we could have hoped for during our first years in London. It has set a very high standard, and it’s now hard to imagine dealing with other agents. I would absolutely check their listings again and would happily rent with them in the future. The contractors they work with also deserve recognition. Sultan and his colleague (whose name I unfortunately never caught) were outstanding. There was nothing they couldn’t fix or improve. One situation in particular stands out. The apartment had a balcony that had been damaged by previous tenants. Because of its specific design, many specialists refused to take on the repair. Even those recommended by the building management. However, the team at Blackstones persisted. Special thanks to Datta, who went above and beyond to find the right contractors. They eventually fixed the mechanism, and we were able to fully enjoy the balcony during the spring and summer. I can only imagine that this repair was costly, probably hundreads if not thousands of pounds, but they still chose to do it properly and find the best people for the job. If you’re wondering what kind of agency they are, this example speaks for itself. Thank you, Blackstones Residential, for such a positive experience. Please keep doing what you’re doing.

He was always responsive, proactive and incredibly helpful, and made what could have been a stressful transaction feel much smoother. He kept things moving, communicated clearly, and was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. As a first-time buyer, that made a huge difference. I’d happily recommend Louis and Elderton & Co to anyone buying or selling in the area!

She made everyone feel welcome and comfortable from the start. Kriztina explained everything clearly and in detail, and she patiently answered every question we asked. We met her a few times during our search, and each time she was just as welcoming and helpful. As I am dyslexic, I especially appreciated how patient and understanding she was with me. It meant a lot and made the whole experience much easier. Although I am no longer looking for a property, I would like to wish her all the very best for the future. If I ever need help with finding a property again, she will be the first person I contact. Thank you very much for all your help. Mohammad

20th Apr 2026 (20 days ago)Amazing, kind and warm, stayed on top of all the maintenance issues during the tenancy and released my full security deposit in no time after the tenancy (even after some minor wear and tear in the walls due to hanging pictures and having the bed frame hanging against the wall) I'm very appreciated!!
