25th Feb 2023 (3 years ago)Have used Ascend for 4 years to manage my flat in Liverpool. During the pandemic they found poor tenants with minimal vetting, carried out no inspections (even after restrictions were lifted). After I made my own inspection I had to alert them to the problems they were missing. When the tenant left my place in an aweful state, their own agent admitted this was terrible. Finally, I received demands from debt collectors for unpaid council tax bills from a void period that the agent never passedon to me. Ascend claim they never received the 3 reminders from the council and refused to take any liability for their mismanagement. I lost £600 in fees and a significant knock to my own credit rating. A large agency that likes to charge management fees but doesn't actually manage. Stay clear - I'm sure there are better options out there!
2nd Dec 2025 (8 mo. ago)I can’t praise Warren and Stuart enough: they were amazing in helping me both sell my home and buy a new one. They are so genuine, trustworthy and efficient, not forgetting Wendy too. Excellent communication and support in a stressful process.

9th Jul 2026 (7 weeks ago)Marian provided an outstanding and what I would say, an unbelievable service. Availability was clear, expectations were managed, fees agreed, support provided where necessary and options available for me, the customer, to decide. The main point to make about Marian and Murphy Waldron Estates, is there was open and direct communication. At no point did I think I was being "sold" a service. I was offered a service with complete transparency, no pressure, no promises, just a clear set of communication and completely honest. My faith in Estate Agents has been restored and I wouldn't blink at deciding to use Murphy Waldron if I needed an estate agent again. I cannot stress how impressed I was and would whole heartedly recommend Marian and Murphy Waldron Estates.

We recently used Suzanne at Milne Moser for independent legal advice in relation to personal guarantees for a property purchase, and the service was excellent from start to finish. A special mention also goes to Jill and the front desk team, who were extremely helpful, responsive, and friendly throughout.

13th Jun 2026 (11 weeks ago)? 1 Star (would give 0 if possible) Extremely poor communication and a complete waste of my time. I repeatedly contacted Kays over several weeks regarding a commercial property they were advertising for lease. Every time I called, I was told they did not yet have access to the premises and that they would contact me as soon as a viewing could be arranged. Despite numerous follow-up calls from me, nobody ever got back to me as promised. When I eventually called again for an update, I was informed that the property had already been let to someone else. If the property was attracting interest, I would have expected basic communication and professionalism. Instead, I was left chasing updates for weeks while receiving the same response over and over again, only to find out the opportunity had been given to someone else. This reflects very poorly on the service provided to prospective tenants and raises questions about how effectively properties are being marketed on behalf of landlords. I would not recommend dealing with this agency based on my experience.

They handled a very difficult sale for us and went above and beyond at every stage — from chasing down company directors for restriction paperwork to pushing Land Registry to resolve issues. Brigitta and Josh are a small but incredibly effective team: professional, polite, and proactive throughout. Their marketing was as good as the big agencies at a fraction of the cost. Excellent value and excellent service — highly recommended. ?????
