12th Sep 2026 (6 weeks ago)Absolutely HORRIBLE!!!!! The property i moved into was disgusting, obviously hadn't been cleaned, and worn down to the bones. I didn't actually have running hot water when I moved in, but was promised someone would be out to fix it in the month I moved in..... three months later they sent someone to look at the boiler, and that person barely got it to limping. They're slow to respond and like to act like it's not their problem. I had reported multiple issues in multiple ways about the property only for my person to turn around and say there was never anything reported about that property. The only time they actually looked at having my very basic needs sorted was when I threatened to withhold rent and get legal advice. Go to anyone else. Literally anyone else. I'd recommend squatting before I'd EVER recommend these awful people. I'm so glad I didn't use them before and I wish I moved out of their property and into a maintained one earlier.

29th Sep 2026 (28 days ago)I popped in to Engall Castle during one of my visits when I had decided that I wanted to relocate and downsize to a smaller house in a nice location. I had arranged with Wendy viewings of a few properties when Wendy informed me of a house that was about to go on the market. It was one amongst others that I viewed on the day. A big thank you to Steve who was the one to show me around all the properties and was very friendly, informative and knowledgeable with the information he provided me with. As soon as I came out of the property that I viewed, and which was yet to go on the market, I called Engall Castle and put in an offer. I then arranged a second viewing within a couple of days and Elisha was great and waiting for me. She answered all my questions. The communication along the way, has been outstanding and I have nothing but praise for all the Team members at Engall Castle. I shall be forever grateful ?????? to Wendy for telling me about the house which I absolutely adore. So a big thank you to you all, and you will never know the extent of my gratitude to you all. I wish you all well. Best wishes ?????? xx

I never had to chase or nudge for an update, which made the whole process feel so smooth and stress-free. The rest of the team were also lovely and helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Chelsea and the team!
15th Sep 2026 (6 weeks ago)I viewed a property today and travelled to attend the viewing. The viewing itself went well, I told the person I will make a decision tomorrow and they knew I worked and needed to travel and hour away. They agreed. Yet around two hours later I was contacted by another member of the estate agent team and told that another offer had been made and another person had also enquired.<br><br>I explained that I did not want to be rushed into making a decision and that I would consider the property and call the following day. Despite this, I was then told that I needed to make a decision by 11am the next morning.<br><br>I found this extremely pressuring, particularly given that buying a property is a major financial decision and I had already clearly explained that I wanted time to consider it.<br><br>I subsequently spoke to Kate about how I felt pressured during the process. Unfortunately, I felt my concerns were dismissed, with no apology or acknowledgement.<br><br>I appreciate that estate agents may have competing offers, but I believe buyers should be given reasonable time to consider such a significant purchase without being pressured into an immediate decision.<br><br>Based on my experience, I would not use this estate agent again. My first and last time not would I recommend it.

They dropped prices over a few weekends and gave the impression there was a problem but, the fact we sold it privately within days of making it available elsewhere only goes to show their lack of scruples.

Miles was happy to arrange additional viewings of the house, he was very attentive and on the ball.
