14th Aug 2026 (9 days ago)I am writing this based on my experience dealing with an agent at Century 21 London Central regarding a serious water leak from a property they manage.<br>A leak from the flat above caused significant damage to my flat, including damage to the ceiling, walls and flooring, with further cracks appearing in several areas. The source of the leak was subsequently confirmed by a Westminster Housing technician.<br>I first informed Dusan about the matter on 21 June. Since then, I have had to repeatedly chase for progress:<br>9 July – followed up for an update<br>14 July – followed up again<br>20 July – followed up again<br>21 July – contractor visited the flat to inspect the damage<br>28 July – followed up again<br>3 August – followed up again<br>On 3 August, the contractor confirmed that he would prepare the quotation that evening and send it to the agent the following morning, with the intention of arranging the repair as soon as possible. I heard nothing further.<br>By 12 August, I had to chase again. The agent then emailed the contractor asking for the quotation. This was despite the agent having already asked the contractor for the quote on 9 July and again on 29 July.<br>As of 14 August, almost eight weeks after I first contacted the agent, I still have no quotation and no date for the repair.<br>What is particularly disappointing is that I have repeatedly had to chase both the agent and contractor, rather than seeing the matter actively managed through to resolution. From my perspective, it feels as though the responsibility is simply being passed back and forth, while the damage to my property remains unrepaired.<br>The situation has also developed further, with my tenant reporting electrical problems after the water spread through the flat, including repeated circuit/fuse tripping and lights no longer working. This makes the lack of urgency even more concerning.<br>I understand that the leak itself was not caused by the agent. My concern is entirely with how the resulting problem has been managed. I would expect a professional property management company to take ownership of a serious maintenance issue, communicate properly with all parties and ensure that necessary repairs are progressed within a reasonable timeframe.<br>I am also a landlord myself, and I take the condition of my property and the wellbeing of my tenant very seriously. I would never allow a repair issue like this to be left unresolved for this length of time. Based on how this matter has been handled, I would not use the agent and Century 21 London Central to manage my property, as this level of management could damage the landlord’s reputation and potentially expose the landlord to complaints, liability and legal action if the property is not properly managed.

13th Aug 2026 (10 days ago)We have just sold our property through the Gibbs Gillespie Pitshanger office, and they were amazing from start to finish. They dealt with the sale in a very professional way — 10 out of 10!<br>We invited a few estate agents to view our property, and Jason was the only one who went out into the garden to appreciate the effort we had put into it. This was one of the reasons we decided to go with him.<br>Jason, Jo, Patricia and Nicola are all true professionals. Every one of them played a key role in selling our property, making the whole process completely stress-free and worry-free for us.<br>We would definitely recommend their services to everyone and would happily use them again in the future.

24th Sep 2022 (3 years ago)I really wonder how come they have so many 5 stars reviews when they did not prove anything else other than unprofesionalism and unable to schedule viewings. They showed up on a Saturday unannounced and the agents can’t seem to get the times right. No cummunication whatsoever other than the automatic email confirmation. They do not reply to emails and do not care about improving their services. I am running very low on patience because of them and definitely this is not how you should do business.
5th Aug 2026 (18 days ago)I have contracted them to sell my one-bedroom flat in North Acton. After previous agency failed to secure a sale I contracted Marsh and Parsons. They valued my flat more acurately, not inflating the price as previous agency done. They seemed to be more proactive and informative, but when I was present at some of the viewings I was surprised how disintersted the agent who accompanied the viewer was. As if they did not care. Also was supprised by some of the feedback from viewers sent by agency. My flat is on 2nd floor, yet one viewer wanted to buy to rent to family of four. ( reminder, it is 1 bedroom). Another apparently said in feedback that flat was too small for her, because if she starts a family she would want to put an extension.( Farsical as it is a second floor flat so the extension could be on stilts). I was surprised that agency did not give the potential viewers all the details. BUt was accepting time wasters. I am very disappointed with the services. Only good thing was the communication about viewings and feedback, however silly, which I did not have from previous agents.- This agent doesn't have any reviews

5th Aug 2026 (18 days ago)We used Cow & Co for the sale of our house and they were excellent.<br><br>Mark was exceptional. He took time to understand our needs, was always on hand to take our phone calls, completely transparent and able to help navigate us through the sale using his years of experience.<br><br>He found us a buyer within the first week of us speaking to him and they had even put in an offer. He then found us our eventual buyers who were the best buyers anyone could have asked for.<br><br>Everything went through smoothly, within the time frame we were hoping and we completed without any major delays or hiccups.<br><br>Thank you Mark and Cow & Co.
19th Dec 2025 (8 mo. ago)This is the worst agency so far. They tried to raise our rent without the approval of the landlord until we had to move. We did not know about this until the landlord called me and said he never asked for the rent to go up.

After five long years of struggling to sell my flat, I had almost given up hope. It was a very complicated sale with many challenges, yet Kyle stepped in and did what no one else could. Within just a couple of weeks of taking professional photos and launching the property, he secured a strong offer and moved the process forward with impressive efficiency. Kyle is outstanding at what he does — not only professional and highly skilled, but also genuine, reliable, and honest. His communication was exceptional from day one. 7th Aug 2026 (16 days ago)I have consistently had bad experiences looking for a flat through Foxtons in both Ealing and Guildford. This goes to show it is the mentality of the agency, rather than just a branch problem. Essentially, the lettings team will not admit that flats advertised are no longer available, and will offer to show you suitable flats based on your criteria. On most occasions, nearly all the flats did not meet my requirements (furtnished when I need unfurtnished, available after my move in date, etc). This is just a waste of time, which in the end may push some applicants to accept a flat out of need. It would be far better to admit there is nothing suitable right now, and let you pursue other agencies. Agents hunt commision and do not really care for their applicants and tenants. On the last occasion I was looking for a flat, the letting agent was talking about how obstructive tenants are these days, by not allowing unlimited access to flats for the new applicants. That should have been a warning sign.

Since listing our property in December, we have not had a single viewing in over six months, which raises serious concerns about the level of effort and marketing undertaken. We also requested reasonable support to explore separating the parking space from the apartment sale, in order to align pricing more closely with comparable properties (similar flats without parking are being treated the same by buyers). Despite this, and despite the contract indicating solicitor support, the request was refused. Overall, the service provided has been extremely limited - essentially a few photographs and an online listing - yet the full fee is still being retained. We have seen no evidence of active engagement or effective sales strategy. Would not recommend.
