5th Jun 2026 (21 weeks ago)Went to 5 estate agents initially but chose to commission Darlows after a confident pitch from their lead agent. We doubted the valuation but were assured due diligence had been conducted, so we went with their expertise. Within 2 weeks, the person we had been dealing with left and we were asked to reduce the price by £25k. Photographs were poor and we had to have a second set created. For the 20 week period of the contract, we only had 1 viewing but the marketing report showed 2 as they counted the visit of the photographer being a visit. The 1 viewing we had, the estate agent asked if the house was listed in front of the potential buyers, which showed à lack of market knowledge, which left us lacking any confidence moving forwards. The 2nd person who acted as our contact has now left the branch and once our contract ends we’re looking to commission a new estate agent. Overall, an extremely disappointing experience and sadly, we can’t recommend Darlows to anyone.

My house was valued and sold within within 3 weeks. Very impressed and wouldn't hesitate to go with CPS again.

They were professional, efficient and helpful, keeping everything moving smoothly and taking care of matters without any unnecessary fuss.<br><br>As a landlord, I've dealt with a number of estate agents over the years and I particularly appreciated Matt's straightforward, no-nonsense approach. No unnecessary sales talk or empty promises, just honest, practical advice and, importantly, doing exactly what he said he would do. Christine was equally excellent, keeping me well informed throughout the sale and ensuring everything progressed smoothly.<br><br>It was exactly the sort of service I had hoped for when choosing an agency, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Matt, Christine and the team at the Llantwit Major office to anyone looking to sell their property.

Throughout the whole process, Gareth has been nothing but open, honest, supportive and professional. We’ve had a bit of an up-and-down journey with property sales, through no fault of anyone’s, but Gareth has been there every step of the way, offering reassurance, advice and support whenever we’ve needed it. The sale of our other property went through smoothly, and Gareth was absolutely amazing throughout. His communication has been second to none. He’s always kept us updated, been completely transparent and, if there was ever something he didn’t know, he made sure he found out and came back to us. What really sets Gareth apart is that he genuinely cares about the people he’s helping. You’re not just another sale to him. He’s gone above and beyond for us, and what started as a professional relationship has turned into a genuine friendship. He has always been happy to help with any questions, offer advice and provide support whenever needed. Nothing has ever been too much trouble, and his friendly, professional approach has made the whole experience so much easier. We couldn’t have asked for better service and would highly recommend Rob to anyone looking to sell their property.

19th Sep 2026 (5 weeks ago)We viewed 2 houses with Steph from the Albany Road branch. She was absolutely lovely! So friendly yet professional and was up for a chat about the houses. She was honest about one of the houses and that made us feel comfortable and that we learnt about it together. She even called back up the next day to get feedback on the houses and to chat about spiders in one of the gardens that we all instantly pointed out! Lovely women and anyone would be lucky to have her show them houses. Hope to see you again soon and help us find the right one for us!
