30th Mar 2026 (6 weeks ago)Duncan and his team have just sold out house in record time. I showed him round 6 months before we put it on the market and there was no hassling, and when we were ready he gave us great advise throughout. Couldn't be more satisfied.
14th Sep 2018 (7 years ago)Very poor experience with this office. Terrible service stemming from terribly poor management. I have had my offer accepted by the vendor nine (9) months ago and contract exchange has not yet taken place! Still ongoing. Branch manager Andrew Wallington who should be dealing with the project, continuously on leave and taking days off. Just a general lack of involvement. Even incompetence has its limits. I have had to personally chase for updates for the majority of the 9 months with Mr Wallington's colleagues, who of-course scarcely know what is going on. Finally, I have come to a position where I am forced to bow out. Having already raised this issue with the Regional Manager- Jacqui White. Her response was essentially it is a "busy office", there are no "notes on the system" to confirm [my] complaints and if you remain dissatisfied, refer your complaint to the customer relations manager. I will now be taking this up with the The Property Ombudsman. I certainly will not be contacting Haart for any further dealings and would recommend this office only as one to avoid.

30th Apr 2026 (8 days ago)I have found the staff ( Chelsea,Charlotte and Summer)at this office went beyond my expectations to find a buyer in such a short time which they did and for the money it was priced for, the communications between us was perfect. I can’t thank them enough for making the process go so smoothly.
30th Apr 2026 (8 days ago)Warning: Serious Misconduct and Potential Fraud I agreed a sale price with Amaal Mahmood Khan at Brian Thomas Estate Agents. During the process, he insisted on altering the agreed price on the official paperwork to a lower figure and taking the difference in cash. This would have cheated the property owner and is essentially mortgage/property fraud. Anyone considering instructing him to sell their property should be extremely cautious. Amaal tries to negotiate cash payments with buyer and does not tell seller real offer. In my case he lied to the seller about the amount i offered and if i had gone ahead the seller would have lost out on thousands of pounds that Amaal was demanding to receive in cash of the books. I strongly advise to avoid this agency and this dishonest man.

30th Mar 2026 (6 weeks ago)I am buying a house through Hilbery Chaplin in Hornchurch and always found them friendly, helpful and efficient, Very easy to communicate with and specially both Kelly workman and Kellie Hallier were extremely helpful with everything I needed so far and very quick responses to my email and phone calls. Extremely happy with their service and highly recommended
16th Apr 2026 (22 days ago)My partner and I have just purchased our first home in Rainham. We have met with a few estate agents in the area but found Patterson Hawthorne to be the best. In particular David, he’s been fantastic throughout and has been there from the beginning of our journey and has helped us get to the finish line with the purchase of our property. He has been an active support for us during this process and we cannot thank him enough. We have enjoyed our experience with PH, in particular with David, so much so that we have said if we look to buy a house in the future, we would go straight to PH.

I want to give a special thank you to Carol Wade (Office Manager) who was amazing she guided me through the whole process, including all the references, and was so patient and supportive throughout. Geoff Burgess showed me the flat and he was very friendly and helpful. When i went to the office, I met Jemma Buisson who was also lovely and made everything smooth. Overall, the team were professional, kind, and made the process much less stressful. I would definitely recommend them.

Their experience in the industry allows them to deliver - my house received an offer within 1 month of being on the market and got sold. Special thanks to Dee for making this happen!

25th Apr 2026 (13 days ago)I rented through Home Connect and had a very disappointing experience. I paid a £3000 deposit but only received £500 back after leaving, with no clear explanation. I would not recommend.

I dealt with Kerrie and the rest of the team in the office, and they were all incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. They supported me from start to finish and made the sale as smooth as possible. I couldn’t be happier with the service provided and will definitely be using them again in the future.

We viewed a property and were explicitly told by the agent that the house was ours and we could proceed with the rental. We started making plans and stopped looking at other places based on their word. ?However, shortly after, they went behind our backs and gave the house to someone else without a word of explanation. This level of dishonesty is appalling. ?To make matters worse, the stress and disappointment caused by this agency's lies literally made my mother sick. We spent time, energy, and hope on this, only to be treated like we didn't matter. They are unprofessional, untrustworthy, and have zero compassion for the families they deal with. If you want an agency that keeps its promises, look elsewhere."
8th May 2026 (0 days ago)The staff are extremely helpful and polite once in your home they treat it with respect and keep you informed every step of the way, The leader of the branch is Charlie King who leads by example and expects his team to match his enthusiasm,. After having my house listed with another agent for six weeks with very little action or communication. Charlie was sure he could sell my house in two weeks, but in all honesty it took them four days and that was because there was a bank holiday! The error I made was not using them as my first choice DO NOT make my error . use Balgores first.
7th May 2026 (1 day ago)Delaney's are a local agency who were able to get me a buyer quickly and I had an offer within a month of putting my property on the market. They kept me updated throughout the process and were a good link for direct contact with the buyer. Their prices were also very competitive. I would recommend them and be happy to use them again.

Andrea and her team are relatable, professional and very communicative all through the process. Lorraine is exceptional, even on her day off she would still be in touch with updates! All very nice people and I have already recommended their services to several other friends. 100% recommendation from me.

Communication was great and made me feel very comfortable. I also had communication with George and Marianne too, they were great to deal with. I would highly recommend using their in house mortgage broker, James Sturch. The experience I had with James with second to none. Top guy, highly recommended! Great estate agents, 5 star service!
