7th Nov 2024 (1 year ago)We used the Jackson-Stops team in Shaftesbury to market our house recently and we are so glad we did. Their approach from start to finish was excellent in every way. We were particularly impressed by the care they took over the photographs and presentation of the house, and by the fact that the whole team came to see the house before it was listed, to ensure they all understood the property's features and selling points. The pre-sale advice we received was relevant and helpful. The team achieved a very good sale for us during a difficult market period and helped us negotiate a final price we were more than happy with. Overall we would thoroughly recommend them to anyone with a distinctive property to sell and seeking a first-class estate agent service.

I have bought and latterly sold through Wild and Lye and both transactions were handled with a competence that comes from long standing experience. The service delivered is excellent and the fees are more than reasonable. I have nothing negative to say about Jonathan and Wild and Lye.
4th Aug 2025 (1 year ago)Duncan Stonier had been managing agents for my property letting for a number of years and always provided top quality service. So when it came to finding someone to handle the sale of my flat I had no hesitation in asking them to do the job. They liaised seamlessly with my solicitor and everything went through without a hitch in just 4 months.
20th May 2026 (14 weeks ago)Arranged to view a property, (which I did go and view), I liked the property and asked if i could give a holding fee. The reply was, 'Go away and have a coffee and think about it.' Well I had thought about it and I wanted to give a holding fee as soon as possible. The lady I spoke to, Victoria had an awful attitude on the phone. She asked me in a very disrespectful way to stop calling and emailing as she will get back to me. I was only calling and emailing as I wanted to hold the property. She told me that she has to contact the landlords and would get back to me the next day. What they seem to do is present the landlords with a selection of possible tenants, and then the landlords 'chat about it overnight' to decide who they 'like the most'. Which in my opinion, is discrimination. Also the agents, don't get back to you very promptly with the outcome. Had to call and email multiple times and felt as if I was harassing as I was told previously to stop calling and emailing. I was disheartened as I really wanted to rent the property and felt like I was overall, discriminated against. Its like your auditioning for the x-factor for goodness sake! Overall, very unprofessional, would avoid at all costs, rude staff and not helpful.

9th Jul 2026 (7 weeks ago)I was a first time renter with this company and I haven’t got a bad word to say about them. Prompt replies to emails/ texts, felt very welcomed when in the office signing papers etc, and lovely people. would 100% recommend.

29th Mar 2023 (3 years ago)Avoid this Lettings agency at all cost, they do not keep up to date with legal requirements for rental properties eg; provision of carbon monoxide alarms etc. Communication extremely poor or non existent. They will not repay your deposit back at the end of the tenancy. Had to get a statutory declaration signed by a local solicitor and sent to the Deposit Protection Scheme in order for the deposit to repaid in full.

Cameron, the Branch Manager, was fantastic from the very first valuation. He was professional, knowledgeable and approachable, taking the time to explain the current market, the marketing strategy and how best to achieve the strongest possible result. We felt confident in his advice from day one and never felt under any pressure. Once the property was on the market, Catherine and Debbie were absolutely brilliant. They kept us updated throughout the entire process, handled viewings and negotiations professionally, and worked tirelessly to keep the sale progressing. Their communication was excellent, and they were always on hand to answer any questions and provide reassurance whenever needed. The whole team at Rendells Totnes made what can often be a stressful experience feel straightforward and well managed. Their professionalism, local knowledge and genuine care for their clients really stood out. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Cameron, Catherine, Debbie and the entire Rendells Totnes team to anyone looking to buy or sell a property. Thank you all for your hard work and excellent service.

The office always return my call and are happy and courteous. Everything is just nice and easy. Steph keeps it all ticking along nicely and I’m really happy to be using them. Highly recommend when needing property rented or sold in or around Wimborne.
