4th Aug 2026 (19 days ago)As a landlord, Winkworth have looked after our properties for the last 15 years. Starting with Ben, who is now a senior partner, and more recently dealing with George, the whole operation has been seamless. The most recent sale of a flat was very efficient due to the teamwork of Winkworth, especially Nino and George. I would recommend Winkworth Westbourne without reservation.
17th Aug 2026 (6 days ago)I was honestly impressed with The Property Centre. Barney was very genuine, and helped up list and sell (STC) our property even with the timeframes we required. The team also were excellent with the many viewings we had, and have been great in the process so far. The pictures and virtual tour/advert were great, and during the intro meeting I felt Barney was giving us genuine advice, as opposed to trying to sell/persuade us to go for The Property Centre.

13th Aug 2026 (10 days ago)Let people in your property without first contacting you. Zero chain of command. And take weeks to respond to your emails if you’re lucky. I’ve been told a handful of times after trying to get in touch with them that I will be called back promptly and still nothing. Terribly managed.

Emails are answered quickly and nothing seems to be too much trouble. We are confident that we are leaving our house in very safe hands!

10th Aug 2026 (13 days ago)We recently sold our property through Boardwalk Estate Agents, and despite what turned out to be a very challenging and stressful sale, the team worked incredibly hard to get us over the finish line.<br><br>A special mention has to go to Chris Palmer, the Sales Progressor, who was absolutely outstanding throughout the process. The sale was far from straightforward (despite there being no chain) and involved dealing with an extremely difficult solicitor on the buyer's side, which caused numerous delays and frustrations. Through all of this, Chris remained proactive, calm, reassuring and professional.<br><br>What really stood out was his communication. He was always incredibly quick to respond to messages and calls, kept us updated at every stage, and worked tirelessly to keep the sale moving forward when it felt like things might stall again. We were particularly grateful that, due to the urgency of the situation, Chris even took the time to deal with matters during his annual leave.<br><br>This transaction certainly tested everyone's patience and sanity! However, Chris's persistence, dedication and support made a huge difference, and I genuinely don't think the sale would have reached completion without his efforts.<br><br>I'd also like to mention Rhia Lloyd, who was a real pleasure to work with from the outset. She did a great job with the valuation and marketing of the property, and her advice and support helped get things off to a strong start. Although Chris was our main point of contact during the sale progression, Rhia was always happy to help when needed and stepped back in towards the end when things were becoming particularly challenging. We really appreciated her support and the part she played in helping us get the sale over the line.<br><br>Thank you to Chris and Rhia for all your hard work. We are now happily settling into our new life in Brighton, and we're very grateful for everything you did to help make that happen.

The chain and legal side ended up getting quite complicated and she did a lot of chasing to keep it moving. Debbie kept me well informed throughout, so much so that I almost never contacted her first - she’d already proactively informed me what I needed to know.

16th Aug 2026 (7 days ago)When I first appraoched ocean when I was evaluating agents, they were very good at communicating and provided all necessary information clearly. Once I agreed to use them. I found that they were slower than I would have liked and it took a few weeks to get the apartment on the market. I had to chase to get a for sale sign up outside the building. Little things like that made the experience working with Ocean average rather than great

Jack and the team were always on hand to offer support and make sure the transaction was progressing as well as possible. Their professionalism, communication, and commitment were far superior to any other agents we have previously worked with.<br><br>Jenni, in particular, was outstanding. She remained proactive at every stage, regularly liaising with solicitors and other agents in the chain to ensure progress. Her communication was exemplary, and she consistently kept us informed during what was a very challenging and stressful process.<br><br>Despite my frequent calls and questions, I was never made to feel like an inconvenience. 3rd Aug 2026 (20 days ago)Working with Carter & May Estate Agents (Jake in this instance) was an absolute pleasure! Jake's knowledge and expertise in the Salisbury area was evident from our first meeting. Jake detailed the entire process including market trends allowing me to make informed choices that impacted positively on the marketing and subsequent quick sale of the property. Outstanding and timely communication meant I was fully informed throughout the process. From initial valuation to completing the sale it took approx 3 months. The C&M team were all helpful, efficient and more importantly demonstrated genuine care and support. I would highly recommend Carter and May if you are looking to buy or sell a property.

7th Aug 2026 (16 days ago)I'm really not one for leaving negative reviews but I'm genuinely amazed this office successfully lets any properties at all. I would be concerned if I were a landlord using this company.<br>We are so keen to move to Portishead and have made enquiries so many times on a number of properties. I have given up completely now as I've lost count how many promises I've received regarding call backs (that's if they answer the phone at all) I can't even get as far as a viewing - trying to get anything from anyone in this office is like getting blood from a stone.<br>Please note if they say they'll call you back, they don't mean it.

The whole process of obtaining the flat, from the initial house viewing to getting the keys, was very efficient and hassle-free. I have no doubt that dealings with Debra in the future will be smooth and easy.<br><br>We didn't have much flexibility with our move-in date though (we wanted to move in halfway through August but were rushed into starting to pay rent in mid July, when we couldn't leave our previous address yet, so we ended up paying for two properties at the same time.<br><br>It seems that the estate agents are very restricted to what the landlord wants, prioritising him over us. For example, I was reassured and given false hope that the whole flat would be repainted, only to be told later that the landlord had changed his mind and would only do the bathroom, which desperately needed it.... I am worried that reporting any issues will be a nightmare, and issues will only be sorted once an issue has become very bad. However I am writing this very early on into my tenancy so we shall see how it pans out (smoothly, I hope.)
