My review: Google Review 1 star — extremely disappointing experience Unfortunately, our experience with Cridland’s Estate Agents has been extremely disappointing. What should have been a straightforward property transaction has turned into a frustrating and unnecessarily difficult process of cat and mouse games. We’ve tried to approach things reasonably and have based our position on the findings of a professional survey, yet rather than feeling that our concerns were being properly understood, we were left feeling that the priority was simply to keep the sale price up. An estate agent should act as a professional intermediary — communicating clearly, managing expectations and helping both parties reach a sensible agreement. Instead, we’ve found the communication and handling of the situation particularly frustrating. It’s disappointing when buyers are treated as though raising legitimate concerns about a property is somehow unreasonable. We’re spending a substantial amount of money and have every right to make an informed decision based on the actual condition of the house. Sadly, based on our experience, I would not recommend Cridland’s if you’re looking for an estate agent who genuinely puts professionalism, transparency and good communication first.... Read more

Very disappointing experience with Mark David. After eight weeks on the market, we had just one viewing and very little communication or proactive marketing. When we asked why our property wasn’t selling, we were told it was because of Donald Trump and the current wars in the world, rather than being given any meaningful advice or strategy. We are now back to square one and have to find a new estate agent, yet we’re tied into our agreement until the end of July despite many of the things we were promised not being delivered. The first meeting I had was with Catherine to introduce Savills of Banbury to me and to value the property, then everything was pasted over to Francesca Moss. Francesca was so efficient and helpful and very uplifting. We laughed a great deal which made the whole experience of selling and buying no where near as stressful as it can be. Communication was poor, with promised weekly updates not being made and the excuses for not being able to generate interest in my house were ridiculous.
