We had a number of difficulties as the property was a 'flying freehold' and not the usual leasehold. 19th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)It's taken me a couple of weeks to get to write this review but the team at Leavenheath have been fantastic throughout this protracted sale having produced three purchasers over the period. The first was affected by Liz Truss the second someone trying to buy involving Cryptocurrency (you couldn't write it) They stuck with me throughout the whole process and found the third and successful buyer. Availability on the telephone and communication in general was great. They clearly smoothed what would otherwise have been a very bumpy ride in the market we were selling in. Thank you all

He helped get quick but fair pricing agreements for both transactions. He and the wider team also handled queries quickly and kept us up to date on progress, working round setbacks to get a good outcome and a new home that we are very pleased with.

22nd Feb 2026 (25 days ago)Having spoken to 3 other estate agents in Clacton, none of whom inspired any confidence, I was relieved and pleased to speak to David Allis who instantly made me feel confident that I had called someone I could rely on. Selling from a distance meant that regular visits to the premises were required and David offered this as part of their usual services which was a huge plus. I’m happy to recommend Blake & Thickbroom if you’re planning on selling a property
27th Nov 2025 (16 weeks ago)I recently dealt with virtually every letting agent in Colchester. Ezelet were far and away the best of all of them! Excellent service throughout the process, open and transparent and they responded quickly to an initial maintenance issue. I would highly recommend them as a tenant and would happily use them again.

5th Jul 2022 (3 years ago)I vacated my property what is now 6 months, I continue to be ignored and left without my deposit. The behaviour is criminal and I would like to warn others before making the same mistake I did in dealing with this company.

17th Mar 2026 (2 days ago)After a disappointing start with no communication and the fact we wanted to move to another estate agent, we agreed to start again and have new photos taken and increase the visibility of the property. This resulted in more viewings however we did have to reduce the price of the property from what it was originally priced. It did attract more viewings but I felt we had to prompt the agents to get more done. They did eventually do everything that was required and sometimes we beyond what we expected.
