I only received my deposit back two months after moving out, and only after going through the tenancy deposit protection scheme’s single claim process.<br><br>The property management team were incredibly unhelpful throughout. I was repeatedly told that someone would get back to me with an update, but this rarely happened, meaning I had to constantly chase for any progress.<br><br>Overall, the lack of communication and the amount of chasing required made the whole process unnecessarily stressful and frustrating. For any future tenants, I'd avoid CKB estate agents!

Very rude and abrupt, you’d think there would be an element of care or desire to provide great customer service considering the amount of competition there is. Recommendation = avoid

16th Mar 2026 (7 mo. ago)Buying and selling a property is already a very stressful time and I found this estate agents overall poor, and general lack of communication exasperated what should be a simple part of the process in relation to viewing properties. I contacted the agency a number of times requesting a viewing to not get through to anyone or told to wait for a callback. When I did finally receive the confirmation, communication issues persisted with no replies to queries, a dead phone line when trying to call, and even a closed office even though we could see someone sitting in there. I was often given the excuse of a tech issue, but no other route to contact them was offered. We were left standing in the cold waiting for the viewing and 15 minutes late the door opened and it appeared the estate agent was waiting inside the whole time. I was very disappointed in the service and even if I was interested in the property I would think twice before buying in case the poor communication carried on delaying the sale.
