6th Jan 2026 (18 weeks ago)The sale of Whirlow House was the sale of my family home of 48 years after the death of my second parent. We’d moved in, from another house in Kirby Muxloe, when I was 7 years old. Although I had moved out many years previously, the processing and clearing out of the house was a hugely emotional- not to mention physical- ordeal. I really needed an estate agent who ‘got it’ and got what it meant to me. Alex Broadley, who I did not previously know but I had seen flyers/cards for, was one of several estate agents I considered for the selling of Whirlow. It had to be Alex- he presented well and additionally, being Kirby Muxloe born and bred himself, he had unbeatable interest in the history and selling of the houses in this village especially, and crucially, he ‘got’ me. And Whirlow. And he had an accurate eye for potential buyer interest. He was also very astute and considered in dealing with my many queries. Alex made a hideous situational sale manageable and bearable and I cannot overstate the importance of that to me.- 4th May 2026 (5 days ago)We have found our Agent Miranda Menzies to be very helpful, hard working, professional and feel we would not have sold our property if it was not for her. Definitely use Property Experts if you want a smooth sale without the promises other estate agents gave us and did not deliver.

On the last viewing told us we had secured it in the Saturday only to be told on the Tuesday that there was a higher bid. We have been brought in as a bidding baite in this property. Avoid this agent! No office to even call in

8th Nov 2024 (1 year ago)We dealt with Matthew Irvine from day one, our first sale fell through so it was a drawn out transaction (5 months) but we found Matthew responsive and helpful throughout, we needed more detailed measurements of the house and although we were committed and would have bought the property in any case, Matthew provided us with a virtual tour which helped alot as we were only able to view once and were buying from Devon. Matthew was approachable and courtious and always responded to our requests for information, so I would say he did a pretty good job with this transaction which was quite stressful for us, we have now relocated and are enjoying our new surroundings :-)

15th Dec 2025 (21 weeks ago)On viewing a property that we were buying there was a bad leak I advised Colin at House & Home and it was not passed onto the vendors and when he handed over the property to me the ceiling had fallen down from the leak he literally gave me the keys and ran with running water from the ceiling absolutely disgusting handling of a huge problem spent £930 to have emergency work. Never ever would I recommend them to anyone. Photos of how he handed me the property even tried to blame my builder who had no access to the property. We are hard working people and this house is where I’m staying while my mum fights aggressive breast cancer this was the last thing I needed. Posted by Mrs R Kirk

25th Mar 2026 (6 weeks ago)Roger was very fair and reasonable to deal with, was considerate to our wishes and did not pressure us at any stage of the process. The only slightly disappointing aspect of the marketing was the photos, as we thought some were a bit too bright.

We dealt with other estate agents in our buying process who left a lot to be desired to say the least and showed the vast gulf in class between local everyday operators and Eliza. Will be recommending her to anyone that asks!

Not the fault of the estate agent, however there was no adjustment to the online profile at any point to refresh the advert. Nothing posted on socials that I’m aware of either.
