For starters, if there were an option for 0 stars, Harry Harper Lettings would have earned it with flying colours. Nothing quite says "welcome to your new home" like finding raw fish left in the freezer, eight full bin bags decorating the garden, and a mould-ridden bedroom that had clearly never seen treatment. It's a truly unique move-in experience. Communication was equally impressive. If you've ever wanted to spend your time speaking to robots, being ignored altogether, or being passed between people who don't know the answer and have no intention of finding it, you're in luck. Customer service appears to be treated as more of a theoretical concept than an actual service. The grand finale? Being charged £400 from our deposit when leaving, despite the condition the property was handed over in. A letting agent's job is supposed to be managing properties and supporting tenants. Harry Harper Lettings seem to have interpreted this somewhat differently. An amateur operation at best. The rental market deserves better, and tenants deserve their rights.... Read more

" In the first fifteen years of their existence Powell's Rural Surveyors have established an enviable reputation as the place to go for those selling property with land. So, in November 2025 I asked them to market my property in Monmouth with nearly half an acre of land. Sophie Pilot was my allotted contact at Powell's and in the period November 2025 to completion of sale in April 2026 , performed far in excess of my expectations. This was in respect to viewings, support and resolving issues with those in the chain. This was particularly important in the last week before exchange when real issues arose. She worked late, including weekends harassing those who were causing delays and ensured that progress was maintained.
