Even in this tough market they’ve been the best — professional, proactive, and really on top of everything. Angela and the team made the whole process smooth and got the result we wanted. Highly recommend.
3rd Apr 2026 (6 mo. ago)Terrible experience. This agency gives the impression of being helpful and supportive, but in reality they are misleading, unresponsive, and only focused on their commission. They make promises they don’t keep and seem to have little genuine interest in the buyer’s situation. I would strongly advise others to stay away and choose a more trustworthy agency.

Put the for sale board up on the wrong house. We were disappointed with the whole experience Horts are by all accounts a good agent so I’m told. Maybe we were unlucky

25th Jul 2026 (13 weeks ago)??????????<br><br>My husband and I were listed with another agent in Towcester for about 5 months with barely any viewing before making the switch to MG.<br><br>Within 1 week MG delivered and found us a buyer! We would highly recommend MG especially Jo and Tristan. They were extremely communicative and delivered on their promises.<br><br>My husband and I also bought through MG and the journey was almost seamless (hiccups with the buyers and their solicitors ??????) but MG always remained professional and in the loop.<br><br>??????????
7th Jul 2026 (16 weeks ago)They used old photos which kept automatically changed hardly ever had shots of the house front even though these were old a drive by would question if this is same property in my opinion also late for viewing leaving client to wait outside I should have checked on the office location and not assumed this was corby who may have had more local knowledge no proofs were sent prior to marketing
26th Oct 2026 (1 day ago)I felt racially profiled and my time was wasted. I attempted to book a viewing and when I told them my name, it was sharply repeated back to me in a judgmental tone. I was then asked my income, asked to complete an income form that demands all my personal and confidential data, and then for a tax return (just for a rental viewing by the way), they booked a viewing for a few days later. Less than an hour before the viewing, I received a voicemail telling me the viewing was cancelled without explanation. I called back and they said they didn’t have the keys. I asked if the viewing could then be rescheduled, they reluctantly said yes, for later that afternoon. 30mins later I received a call from management advising that the property was no longer available for me and they had cancelled the viewing.<br><br>I was spoken to rudely across all 3 calls (Yasmin, Izzy?, and Nora) - I believe these were the names of the agents I spoke to.<br><br>I felt profiled from the first call, my time was wasted and I was misled to thinking I’d be able to view the property and here’s why:<br><br>- why was I asked for significantly more personal data only after they knew my name?<br>- why was I asked for proof of income just for a viewing? No other agent has ever asked me this?<br>- why was I lied to in the morning of the viewing to say they just forgot to collect the keys<br>- if the property had genuinely gone, any agent would then suggest other properties rather than closing the door immediately on both occasions there were issues that apparently came up.<br><br>Worst experience from an agent, avoid giving these people your hard-earned properties to manage.

Advice at all stages was clear and our input was incorporated where relevant. Best service received in comparison to any agency I have dealt with in the past.

Our success was due to their knowledge of the local market & giving us fantastic advice in relation to the pricing and marketing of our home.<br><br>During the whole process, communication was fantastic and we received regular updates at every stage.<br><br>We sat on the market for 12 weeks before moving to JG, and it was the best decision we made. We’d recommend them to anyone considering selling their home!
16th Sep 2025 (1 year ago)The first meeting I had was with Catherine to introduce Savills of Banbury to me and to value the property, then everything was pasted over to Francesca Moss. Francesca was so efficient and helpful and very uplifting. We laughed a great deal which made the whole experience of selling and buying no where near as stressful as it can be. I have moved and developed several houses, dealt with estate agents and never have I had this level of efficiency and fun as Francesca made this sale.
