18th May 2026 (7 weeks ago)Cant leave zero stars but have to say the staff really leave a lot to be desired quite rude and disrespectful, especially Katie. I would not recommend them to anyone. No response from Lucy after contacting them about Katie's behaviour. but good to see they like to leave meaningless automatic responses

25th Feb 2026 (19 weeks ago)The agent was excellent in all aspects , it was a sale with some technical hitches which neither the estate agent, lawyer or ourselves could have predicted - the first agreed buyer pulled out of sale just a few days before exchange of contract - this caused extra expensive and acceptance a much reduced offer Disappointed by first buyer

29th Jun 2026 (7 days ago)We cannot recommend JHS Law highly enough. They handled the sale of my late father-in-law's house with professionalism, compassion, and genuine care from start to finish. Their communication was fantastic throughout—we were always kept informed, and any questions were answered promptly, making what could have been a stressful process so much easier. As we don't live in Dumfries, we needed an agent we could place our trust in, we met with a few different agents, but from the minute we met Mark, we instinctively knew he was the right person for us. Mark from the get go was absolutely fantastic, he is a rare find in the property world, a safe pair of hands who genuinely cares , even though he had a number of properties live on the market to manage, he never loses focus and has an exceptional and methodical way of progressing the process. He was always professional, friendly, accommodating, and a pleasure to deal with, helping every viewing run smoothly. Thank you to Mark and top photographer Robyn and everyone at JHS Law for your outstanding support - we wouldn't hesitate to recommend your services to anyone buying or selling a home.

10th Apr 2026 (12 weeks ago)I'd say 1 star is too generous. As stated from numerous other reviews the owner George is a very unpleasant human being. From the very beginning I had issues with the storage heaters not working properly and horrible problems with damp and mould that kept getting ignored and not taken seriously and the solution to this was to keep all windows open all day and night in the height of winter( it was that cold my pipes had frozen) From this George lied to me about the landlord wanting me out of the property yet couldn't provide evidence of this all because he didn't want to take responsibility that his company was failing their basic responsibilities and during this conversation George actively threatened me with violence because I wasn't backing down to his bullying. After stating that I was recording the whole conversation he very quickly changed his tune and wanted to finally try and help but by doing this passed my number onto a central heating company to change over the storage heaters which I was to pay for myself which is ludicrous from a renter. Lastly when I moved out, I had the property cleaned and painted and left items that were already there when I moved in yet tried claiming I had left them and left the property in an unreasonable state especially marks on Walls that were continously having to be cleaned due to black mould, yet never contested giving back the full deposit which shows they were trying to be awkward and difficult for the sake of it. If you can, please stay away from this company.

5th Jun 2026 (4 weeks ago)I have used Pennylane for a number of years to look after a rented flat and they are by far the best agent I have used. When I decided to sell Christine and Chanice were excellent arranging everything from pictures to survey, dealing with viewings and all with a pleasant and professional manner. Even when we experienced a couple of difficulties they never became negative and strived relentlessly for a solution. The whole company are very professional and I would happily recommend.

Our flat sold within days and was such an easy process thanks to Craig and the team. Lovely bunch of people and so helpful/knowledgable. Would highly recommend going to the home hub for your mortgage and sale of property ??????

Lynne's experience, with her eye for attention to detail, meant we had a very professional online brochure, as well as a Home Report, produced in the space of a week. As a result of Lynne conducting the house viewings in person, we were delighted to receive a formal offer on our house, above the asking price, within FOUR working days of the sales brochure going online. We can heartily recommend Cecchini Property for their professionalism, without hesitation, as well as saying that their communication was always crystal clear, and we felt extremely valued as their clients.

So professional, thorough and talked me through every step - and answered ALL of my questions!<br><br>Photographs of the property were brilliant. David took the time to get to know the property and surrounding area and wrote up a brilliant description of it.<br><br>The flat sold after one day on the market because they know how to make it sought after and sell! David was on top of all communications and steered me through everything.<br><br>Top guys who are passionate and brilliant at their jobs!
