The whole process was handled professionally and efficiently, keeping disruption to a minimum and securing a suitable new tenant quickly.<br><br>Special thanks to Nelson and Sophie, whose clear communication and proactive support made everything straightforward from start to finish. They kept us informed at every stage and were always quick to respond to any questions.<br><br>Highly recommended to any landlord looking for a reliable, well-organised letting agent.
2nd Mar 2019 (7 years ago)We are student at Durham University and we decided to rent a house. I called the estate agent and they agreed to send us the agreement and everything to rent this one house that we really liked. We were supposed to arrive a week later to submit the forms and pay deposit. When I got the papers, they confirmed with us that the house would be definitely be reserved for us. However, the morning we were supposed to hand in the papers, I got a short, badly articulated email saying that the property was no longer available and that we should look somewhere else. No explanation, nothing. We were angry because student accommodation is competitive and we lost so much time waiting for this house. Upon emailing them multiple times, they finally said that the previous tenants decided to stay for another year. Didn’t they confirm with the current tenants that they would be moving out? Why would they even list the house if that was an option? .Why send us the agreements and everything? They didn’t even bother trying to find us other options that we could stay at instead. All and all, I would never use this agent again because their service is absolutely terrible

I've been dealing with two other estate agents recently and Michael Poole Billingham were by 'far and away' the best. Debbie was very friendly and gave us all good support and advice. She communicated with us throughout the process of the sale. I can honestly this has been the best experience I have ever had in selling a house. Michael Poole Billingham and Debbie in particular were exceptional.
17th Apr 2026 (6 mo. ago)The valuation was great, the woman was lovely and photos were excellent. The communication stopped after a few weeks. The house was listed with 2 agents, when I did a viewing with the other party they said about how they'd tried to contact holbrooks and couldn't get through. I received a call about a viewing after no contact for weeks and told them the there had been an offer on the house and was sols stc, the woman rudely said you could have told us. I would have if there had been any contact! Overall wouldn't recommend them.

14th Jun 2025 (1 year ago)I used Collier to sale my late father’s home, they were incredibly quick in everything they did and kept good communication with me being a distance seller. They made the whole experience a lot easier to deal with.
3rd Oct 2024 (2 years ago)We knew we were selling at a lower price but they found a buyer quickly and knowing there were no estate agency fees or solicitors fees brought the price closer to what we had hoped for.

I have been a broker for 22 years and can honestly say that the speed in which Richard has turned this matter around has been impressive! I wish you a very successful 2023!

17th Oct 2026 (10 days ago)Very disappointing experience with Progression Properties. The accommodation was not properly cleaned or maintained, and the lack of proper locks on doors raised serious concerns about safety and security. Communication was frustrating, and I was disappointed with the overall standard of living conditions. I also found the tenancy notice requirements and additional charges stressful and unclear. Tenants deserve a clean, safe and secure home, along with transparent communication and professional service. I would advise anyone considering renting with this company to inspect the property carefully and get all terms in writing before signing.
