3rd Feb 2026 (8 mo. ago)We rented a property in Chingford from 1 February 2026 through Claremont Estates. Zak and Mafiz acted as a great bridge between us, the landlord, and Goodlord. The entire end-to-end process was smooth, efficient, and well explained step by step. The property was professionally cleaned and met a high standard. Everything was handled properly, and we are very satisfied with the experience.
14th May 2026 (24 weeks ago)DO NOT trust this company if you are a renter. We moved into a flat with the stated intention of living there longterm, and as soon as we moved in, there were serious and major safety issues (exploding plug sockets, broken appliances, dangerous floor-level windows that opened to a sheer fall). Despite our intention to stay longterm, the landlord clearly had no intention of actually doing his job. He was slow and unresponsive on high-priority repairs, and the HSC staff were little help. He put the house on sale within a few months of living there, then issued a no-fault eviction notice, which rendered most of our time in the flat into a de facto show home. Aside from the general rudeness and incompetence of the staff, it is crystal clear to me that — if you are a renter — Hurford Salvi Carr have no interest in you, other than to siphon as much money out of you as possible. Avoid at all costs.

16th Oct 2026 (11 days ago)Bells have been managing my property for the last two years. Before I went to Bells I tried another estate agent around the area. I like to think I’m a good judge of character and the previous agents just felt untrustworthy with contradictory statements and the tenants they were bringing forward were let’s just say sub par. When I spoke to the owner of Bells he was straight forward open and managed to find me really good potential tenants really quickly. He’s such a genuine guy and I’ve had no issues with him, his staff or the tenants. Couldn’t recommend Bells enough.
