10th Nov 2025 (11 mo. ago)Avoid Hills Estate Agency at All Costs!! I have spent the past year being over-promised and massively under-delivered by Hills. The experience has been nothing short of a disaster. There has been a complete failure in communication from start to finish. I was repeatedly given “estimated completion dates” that never materialised, followed by weeks even over a month of no contact whatsoever. Because of their poor advice, I am now over £2,000 out of pocket. The unprofessionalism is staggering. Staff openly discussed the seller’s personal finances, telling me the seller “had no money” and describing them as “an absolute nightmare customer.” Imagine paying Hills thousands of pounds to sell your property, only for them to bad-mouth you to the buyer. Completely unacceptable. Given this behaviour, it’s no surprise there are so many negative reviews online. I submitted a formal complaint and received a response from Charlotte today no empathy, no apology. If this is how a director behaves, it’s clear why the rest of the staff follow suit. If you value your time, your money and your sanity, avoid Hills like the plague!! Useless!!

Throughout the entire buying process, I found the agency to be very unhelpful and, once the seller accepted our offer, they essentially washed their hands of the process. Emails often went unanswered, and communication was neither professional nor transparent.<br>I was also given a number of statements and assurances about the property during the sales process which later proved to be misleading and, in my opinion, amounted to mis-selling. This was extremely disappointing, especially when making such a significant purchase.<br>I genuinely regret having to leave a review like this, as I am not normally someone who leaves negative reviews, but the way this was handled was simply not acceptable. I would not recommend this agency to anyone.<br><br>Edit<br>What kind of answer is that? "Should you wish to discuss further"<br>Ridiculous!

From start to finish she treated us with the utmost respect, answering our endless questions with patience and dignity. I couldn’t of asked for a better, more smooth move than I received from Holly.
15th Jun 2026 (19 weeks ago)The initial meeting to value the property, the subsequent meeting to take photos and the organising of the paperwork was great, we were impressed, which was why we went with them. Unfortunately, after 14 weeks on the market they had only got us 2 viewings and their communication to us was a bit hit and miss, so we decided to go with a different agent. They weren’t the right agent for us on this occasion.

The team was professional, friendly, responsive, and genuinely helpful throughout the process. Their knowledge of the local property market and attention to detail really stood out. Everything was handled smoothly and efficiently, making the whole experience stress-free. Highly recommended!

19th Oct 2026 (8 days ago)Kelly showed us around the property with real care and took the time to explain how offers and acceptances work on both parties, which was genuinely helpful. We ultimately decided not to go ahead with the property but she never pushed or rushed us toward a decision. She also kept in touch both before and after the viewing which made the whole process feel smooth and well looked after.<br><br>I'd happily recommend Kelly to anyone buying or selling.
