10th Nov 2025 (11 mo. ago)Avoid Hills Estate Agency at All Costs!! I have spent the past year being over-promised and massively under-delivered by Hills. The experience has been nothing short of a disaster. There has been a complete failure in communication from start to finish. I was repeatedly given “estimated completion dates” that never materialised, followed by weeks even over a month of no contact whatsoever. Because of their poor advice, I am now over £2,000 out of pocket. The unprofessionalism is staggering. Staff openly discussed the seller’s personal finances, telling me the seller “had no money” and describing them as “an absolute nightmare customer.” Imagine paying Hills thousands of pounds to sell your property, only for them to bad-mouth you to the buyer. Completely unacceptable. Given this behaviour, it’s no surprise there are so many negative reviews online. I submitted a formal complaint and received a response from Charlotte today no empathy, no apology. If this is how a director behaves, it’s clear why the rest of the staff follow suit. If you value your time, your money and your sanity, avoid Hills like the plague!! Useless!!

1st Oct 2026 (26 days ago)Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this agency based on my experience. Throughout the entire buying process, I found the agency to be very unhelpful and, once the seller accepted our offer, they essentially washed their hands of the process. Emails often went unanswered, and communication was neither professional nor transparent.<br>I was also given a number of statements and assurances about the property during the sales process which later proved to be misleading and, in my opinion, amounted to mis-selling. This was extremely disappointing, especially when making such a significant purchase.<br>I genuinely regret having to leave a review like this, as I am not normally someone who leaves negative reviews, but the way this was handled was simply not acceptable. I would not recommend this agency to anyone.<br><br>Edit<br>What kind of answer is that? "Should you wish to discuss further"<br>Ridiculous!

15th Jun 2026 (19 weeks ago)The initial meeting to value the property, the subsequent meeting to take photos and the organising of the paperwork was great, we were impressed, which was why we went with them. Unfortunately, after 14 weeks on the market they had only got us 2 viewings and their communication to us was a bit hit and miss, so we decided to go with a different agent. 22nd Sep 2025 (1 year ago)I once excellent company completely wrecked by its new owners. The company used to be very easy to communicate with, now its easier to communicate with the dead. They use to be polite, but Northwood regard tenants as an inconvenience. I had eight years of good experiences but the ninth is a mess, and its all because Northwood, the new owners, are terrible. It must have taken a lot of effort to transform a great company into one I am now writing a one-star review for on every platform I can find, but they managed it.
28th Aug 2025 (1 year ago)Overall a mixed bag of opinions, chris himself who does the show rounds is lovely but buying your first home is a bit of a minefield to say the least, We had two failed property's with them. 1st property where the seller pulled out because we wouldn't pay 3.6k towards HIS defective lease this went on for a few months and resulted on us missing the deadline of our tenancy end in our current property. The estate agents was not considerate of the situation & didn't offer anything else within our criteria and just went about their day knowing we'd still be open to further properties as we were staying in air bnb's and hotels at the time. They just re listed the property as "newly" on the market when in fact it had been listed for the best part of 6-8 months prior. The second property we went to attend a viewing in which they hadn't pencilled in and we had to call whilst being stood outside for 15 minutes. to which we was told we never confirmed even though we had written confirmation of both ourselves and themselves agreeing a time etc, We was then rushed during this viewing because they'd double booked. We went onto register interest in another property and just never received a follow up. We shown interest in this property more than once left vm's and emails. If you're thinking about selling i would not use them as they don't care about you at all & have probably scared many other potential buyers off as well. After a whole year we managed to find a house with another estate agents stress free, This house did not come with free mould, soiled floorboards, leaking roofs, Landlord special cover ups & the area was not mis sold as a nice area when in fact it gave shameless a good run for its money.

The lettings process was smooth from start to finish and they found solid tenants without any hassle. Feels like they’re looking after the property properly, which gives me peace of mind.

Dewi Jones was able to put my property up for sale online within a week, and immediately we had multiple viewings. I got the price I wanted and it was a easy process as Dewi is professional and communicates regularly, he was always available to have a quick chat and keep me up to date.

We ultimately decided not to go ahead with the property but she never pushed or rushed us toward a decision. She also kept in touch both before and after the viewing which made the whole process feel smooth and well looked after.<br><br>I'd happily recommend Kelly to anyone buying or selling.

26th Aug 2021 (5 years ago)As a landlord I would say you should avoid dealing with Taylor Jackson. They were dire at best. Totally incompetent as letting agents. Problems we had: The tenants rent was agreed but he never paid the full amount. They falsified a Tenancy agreement, we only found this out when we sold the property. They did not inspect the property. They held onto money the tenant did pay, we only found out by accident that the Tenant had paid, I am fairly sure had we not found out they would never have paid and their accounting system is dreadful. They had work carried out for us and we did not get any invoices just a charge. The tenant owed 18 months rent in the end so we sold the property. Good riddance Taylor Jackson!

21st Oct 2026 (6 days ago)I had to wait 3 hours for them to hand over the keys because they said they were doing the inventory and cleaning. When I finally got to the flat, it was absolutely disgusting and smelled horrible. Avoid this company at all costs. They’re absolutely disgusting. I moved in on Monday, 12th October, and the house was dirty then and it’s STILL dirty to this day. They literally do nothing about it. The kitchen is absolutely filthy. My sister and I had to clean up our bedrooms just so we could sleep comfortably. Like, how disgusting is that?! I don’t even use the bathroom because it’s so dirty. We had to clean one of them ourselves just so we could shower and stuff. I can’t even cook because the kitchen is so disgusting, so I’ve been eating out EVERY SINGLE DAY since 12th October!!! I regret moving here so much
