5th Aug 2026 (19 days ago)We can very highly recommended Wilbys Chartered Surveyors, Estate and Lettings Agents, to be use as Estate agents. We first met the staff in 2026, after viewing and buying an apartment, and putting family bungalow for sale. Wilbys staff was very helpful, friendly, professional, and welcoming. They helped us with all our enquiries, and given information, and advice.

21st Feb 2026 (6 mo. ago)Having approached 3 estate agents to value the property I was most impressed by the work undertaken from the outset by Steven Goff. Although not the cheapest in terms of commission they seemed more professional than the competition. Since placing the business in their hands I have been extremely impressed by their work in relation to organising everything such as viewings and marketing and updating me at every stage. I have been most appreciative of the work undertaken by the whole team and in particular Lauren.

10th Apr 2026 (19 weeks ago)Had an offer accepted for a flat, sent all required paperwork. Went on holiday to USA and carried on responding to emails, arrive home and they've sold the flat to someone else. I'd even instructed th solicitor they recommended to represent me. Very very dissapointing beaware of this of looking for property in Whitby.

My situation was complicated, despite being a professional person earning a good salary, paying all my rent and bills on time, I found it so difficult to move on to the next chapter of my life, but Tariq listened, he understood and he cared. He made me feel better that life doesn’t always work out the way we planned but you can move forward with your life. If you’re honest with Tariq he will help you to find a way to move forward. Never give up. Katie

The issues we report are handled with priority and sorted quickly. All the associates working there are very kind and acknowledge all the calls and emails quickly. Overall a good service and I would definitely recommend them to my friends who are looking for houses to buy and rent.
2nd Dec 2025 (8 mo. ago)Awful service. Had to take several attempts to get photographs right and then proceeded to gossip to our neighbours about our personal moving plans. Very unprofessional and a serious breach of client confidentiality. Avoid unless you want your personal plans revealing to your entire local area.

It's been a long (ongoing for 2 years) and very difficult process but the whole team have been utterly amazing. Mel especially deserves a mention as she has been an absolute rock throughout the ordeal. She was extremely proactive in dealing with all the parties involved, knew exactly what needed doing every step of the way and was a consumate professional. Her sense of humour and ability to remain optimistic kept me sane. Honestly, I cannot thank or recommend these guys enough.<br>*******<br><br>Mel and Holly have been absolutely brilliant during our house purchase, can't fault a single thing! Professional, friendly and most importantly good humoured. They answered every query really promptly and went above and beyond to help make the process smoother for us. Definitely deserve five stars!

Raciest remarks during meetings laughing at customers when they become emotional because there property has been ruined because of thier neglect tolf close to a year ago problem mine to fix now after all that timw its their problem but want to send untrained workers into fix the problems yet again after thw drunk worker incident they want to send unqualified workers around who barely speak a word of english
10th Feb 2026 (6 mo. ago)Kirsty didn’t come across as very respectful or professional in how she spoke to my partner. As first time buyers, we expected a bit more understanding and courtesy. On the other hand, Darran, who showed us around the property, was polite, professional, and knowledgeable.
15th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)Initially good to deal with. Purchased a new home through them and found them pleasant. However, things have gone downhill after we found that the new home we purchased was not mortgageable. Have told us that they have nothing to do with the deposit we paid even though they sent the e-mail with bank details on. Would not recommend as at the first sign of a problem they have disappeared and washed their hands of us.
14th Jul 2026 (6 weeks ago)I had a postive experience staying at 200, Burley Road. The property is really nice, well maintained and newly refurbished. I always reached out to Lucy in case of any issues (which was very rare) and she resolved it within 2-3 working days.

17th Jun 2026 (10 weeks ago)Can’t thank Jody & Lucy enough for all that they did selling our property, from the first time meeting Jody he was so friendly and professional and I knew then that’s who I wanted to use to sell our property. The photos were very professional and really showcased our house, arranging viewings was easy and Jody conducted the viewings mainly which again was great, so THANK YOU<br><br>The chain wasnt straightforward and VERY stressful at times but Lucy was also there on the other end of the phone guiding me through and really helped me become a little less stressed.<br><br>Would highly recommend to friends and family

They gave me two price estimates - to sell with and without improvements. Once on the market, Kaylee kept in touch and answered any questions I had. The service was excellent from start to finish and I would recommend them to anyone!

He handled the sale of my house with a really high level of professionalism, I’d previously used a more traditional estate agent as I hadn’t come across EweMove, the contrast was night and day and Paul made the selling experience enjoyable.<br><br>Paul was knowledgeable, approachable and kept everything moving when it could easily have become stressful. I really appreciated his patience, communication and the way he conducted himself throughout the process.<br><br>A genuinely excellent estate agent and a real credit to the team. Thank you, Paul!
