We have been trying to buy a new property in hucknall Nottingham moving from a cesspit of a property in Arnold also in Nottingham. After 4 months of trying (already had cancelled one transaction due to the fact that the property was a disaster and would have cost £7300 to rectify). Anyway the solicitor wasn’t the best and things were very slow in moving and things were frustrating The staff of Birstow eves then got involved to move things on. The staff Ross, Nicole, Ethan, Marie and Molly(in no particular order) were amazing. Nicole was regularly texting and phoning the solicitor and pressing them and then relaying any information to either Me or Nicola. Molly once was stuck in the office on her own but promised me to contact asap. At 17.27 one night I received a phone call from her with an update, even though she was due to go home she made that phone. Ross was extremely patient when we first approached Birstow eves for our property when my wife’s photo wouldn’t take on the phone. He must have tried at least 6 times before he succeeded. Ethan and Marie have also been extremely helpful and always polite and understanding. We finally have our dream home, just not looking forward to carrying all that furniture upstairs. There must be too much of a job for this company to include in the description that no more viewings are possible! The house has been on market for 3 days then i called to arrange to view the property only to be told they already received multiple offers for the property and there won't be any more viewings. How hard can it be to update the description and safe as calling or even driving to the area where property is. Property is still advertised as normal, if you were a professionals you would change descriptions the minute you decide no more viewings. So tempted to let the owners know about this as I am sure they would go for a higher offer if they have multiple ones.... Read more

Not entirely happy with the service I receive. There seems to be too many different people dealing with different areas of the rental market and a high turnover of staff. I often feel that I don't know who I'm supposed to contact and find myself being passed from pillar to post which is frustrating.
