I don’t write reviews often, and if I do it has to be for a good reason. I can say without a doubt that beercocks have been brilliant! We were unsure at first at putting our beloved family home on the market, but we have been presently surprised with the service we’ve received. Jack managed our sale and he is the most lovely person, so kind and genuine and we felt that nothing was too much. I used to message him panicking about things and he always made time to talk us through everything and reassure us. From start to finish it’s been a really good experience, slightly more expensive than some agents out there but as the old saying goes you get what you pay for! We walked into beercocks to enquire about a property, we were assisted by Jack and a viewing was arranged straight away for us. This property was not suitable.
Jack took our details and helped us to find the correct house that suited our needs.
We had been looking for months for the correct house and Jack invests his time to find us the correct house and within a week we had been offered, we viewed, put our offer in, accepted after negotiation for the best price for me and the seller and now we are with solicitors to buying!
We can’t thank Jack and his team at Beercocks enough.

We recently purchased a property through Beercocks and, unfortunately, found the experience with our agent, Belinda, to be extremely disappointing. Throughout the process, she came across as disinterested and unprofessional. Viewings felt rushed, and although she spoke at length, it was clear she lacked a basic understanding of the property.
We asked several straightforward questions, many of which she was unable to answer accurately — and, more concerningly, a few of the responses we received later turned out to be untrue. This caused unnecessary confusion and stress during what should have been an exciting time.
Sometimes she was just rude, and it was as if ahe was teying to put us off the property rather than sell it and was patronising to suggestions for improvements we made.
We expected a higher standard of service and professionalism from an established agency and would hesitate to recommend Beercocks based on this experience.

We have sold three properties over the last 7 years, this sale was by far the most stressful and the main reason for this was poor communication. Miller Metcalf in Manchester received a 5 star review twice, it was a different story with Beercocks. We did not receive updates unless we asked, the right hand did not seem know what the left was doing and it all seemed rather chaotic. I do not wish to name names. Our solicitor put it in a nutshell when he said that their poor level of communication both with us and with him was 'most peculiar'. We are thankful for his help and the fact that he was willing to get involved to assist us when we were at the end of our tether. I'm afraid that we were really disappointed with Beercock's level of customer service.

They attended quickly and took great photos and videos of the property. It was on the market within a few days and since then we have been kept up to date with everything. We have always been able to get in touch when we needed to and our thoughts and opinions have always been taken seriously. We would recommend Beercocks.

Good communication with calls returned promptly. Slightly Higher selling fees than similar agencies but offices spread around the area and work together. Sales board became damaged and quickly replaced. Viewings undertaken by agent except weekends. Clearly told me what status purchaser were at. Updates on pricing and recommendations when to reduce and when to stick and wait in a poor market situation. However was probably over valued to start with. Individual house so hard to know value.

I drove over 100 miles with my daughter to view a property in Barton and offered the full asking price the following day. When I spoke to Belinda she derided my offer saying "it's a bit low isn't it?" A day past and I was told that it was rejected by the vendor, even though I had discussed my valuation with him during my visit. I then asked my son to up the offer by a couple of thousand above the asking price, which he did, and again was met with derogatory demeanour by Belinda. I have absolutely no idea if my offers were even extended to the vendor, as I am minded to believe this transaction was all about her commission and not meeting the vendors requirements. Obviously not recommended.
