As first time buyers, we were a little clueless going into the buying process. Harry Fishenden helped to make the whole process as smooth as possible, let us visit the property as much as we wanted and happily sorted out any checks we wanted doing on the house. He told us he could get us in the house in 10 weeks- and he managed it in 7.
Honest, friendly and knowledgable- would happily use his services again if needed.

5 stars for Harry Fishenden at Chaffers! We first met Harry when we came to view a property in Gillingham. We were nervous as we had withdrawn an offer on another property, with a different agency, following a survey report. We explained to Harry that we wanted a solid house with no surprises, as we didn’t want to waste more time and money pursuing another house which wasn’t viable for us. Harry was honest and transparent which we really appreciated and the survey we arranged came back exactly as he said he expected it to- no surprises! Harry communicated with us throughout the whole process and was encouraging and reassuring during delays with our buyer’s solicitor, engaging with our selling agents and solicitors to keep things moving. Harry was an absolute pleasure to work with and we are delighted to now be in our new home. Thank you!

Harry was so professional and helpful that I felt the need to post a review.
I have dealt with many estate agent reps and can say that he was way more professional than some. He was incredibly friendly and relaxed and down to earth.
He went above and beyond to answer any queries I had, he also gave me his card and made himself available afterwoods, I know I took up a lot of his time, probably longer than the viewing should have been but I had so many questions and I never felt rushed in the slightest. Although I ultimately didn't take the property I have to praise Harry because one of the most helpful and professional estate agent reps I have encountered. 5 stars. Thankyou Harry!

It's shocking how bad such an established estate agent can be.
They misled me (intentionally or otherwise) multiple times throughout the buying process, and on multiple times their lies nearly led to the purchase falling through.
This includes their agent telling me multiple times the property has no chain and then as soon as an offer was accepted they informed me that actually the sale is tied to a purchase of another property and the funds from my purchase would be used to acquire the property, and it all needs to go through within 4 weeks. But even then they point blank lied and said it isn't a chain.
When I formally complained, the director accepted his colleagues had been dishonest but this should be expected because young inexperienced sales agents often make things up to help sales proceed, in this case it was Dee who gave false information on multiple occasions.
He said to speak to him directly going forward. I did so but even then when he was out, messages would be promised to be passed on and no response would ever come.
Even when it came to getting the keys, I was promised someone would call me as soon as they were ready. Nobody did so I ended up just turning up to ask for them and they were there waiting for me. But the branch was too incompetent to let me know.
A woefully poor and unprofessional firm. Avoid them at all costs.

I used this company to conduct two surveys against potential properties I wished to purchase. Thanks to their excellent work I pulled out of the first one and am moving forward with the second.
Chaffers service and communication have been excellent, I was always kept in the loop and knew what was going on. Once the surveys had been carried out I was given a high level summary over the phone and then the entire report was with me a week later.

We would 100 percent recommend their services. Having had awful experiences with other local agent who didn't reply to messages didn't seem to be able to arrange viewings efficiently save yourself aggravation and go straight to the Chaffers team. Chaffers were selling the house that I have just bought and I could not be more impressed with them. I wish my own estate agents had been half as good! Allister, Julie and the rest of the team have been incredibly helpful and supportive throughout the process and even gave me a little welcome gift. Their kindness has not stopped there - as I have no phone or internet for a couple of weeks, they have even let me use their office for WiFi and calls. I cannot speak highly enough of them and would not hesitate to use them if ever I want to sell again.
