I had mixed personal reviews prior to my contacting Dourish and Day but I will NOT using them to sell my property as I'm appalled at the "it's not my job" attitude. I will be contacting the estate agency that sold my parents bungalow as they were proactive and cheaper fees! They refused to let myself, or my property agency, know the date/times of Dourish and Day availability for a valuation so an appointment could be arranged with my tenant. They also refused to make ONE phone call and contact the tenant directly as Dourish and Day had misunderstood what my tenant had said upon initial contact. My agent informed me that they have tried making contact but are awaiting a response from Dourish and Day which Dourish and Day have denied. When I requested an update this is the response "We will not move forward until they call us with the tenants availability for us to attend as it is their responsibility to clear things with them."... The worst experience with the most rudest of admin contacts. They have no interest in doing anything to market other than the basic of a few pictures and online marketing. They don’t provide you with any feedback. Week one gel three four nothing at all no keep in touch .. They get the listing wrong and don’t rectify it. Do not stand for poor quality fob you off of a company they are. They may have a market share bit they have no customer focus .. all they want is a commission.. try harder and stop with the crappy comments and lies... Read more

I just wanted to thank the team all for all their hard work and dedication. Our story began with Jez who came out to value our own property - a very quick and simple process was followed and our house was up for sale immediately. Steve S came and took photos and videos of our home- they were of excellent and high quality. Anna took care of our marketing online and was quick to many any small amendment. The brochure and online marketing was slick and drew people in- our home sold in 4 days. Sarah was our designated lead on sales progression. She is a legend and like a dog with a bone- without her diligence, I do not believe I would be sat in my beautiful, new home today- thank you so, so much for keeping things moving in the right direction. You looked after us beautifully and I cannot possibly thank you enough. ???????? What I loved best about Dourish and Day was that if your designated lead was on holiday, their desk was still worked. Nicola stepped in whenever needed, to pick up that gauntlet, you made this process absolutely seamless. ???? Claire was also amazing - thank you so much for gluing my head back on when I really needed it. ???????? You guys work incredibly hard, and in my opinion went above and beyond at all times, but you make it look effortless. I spoke to several other members of staff and all were extremely helpful and supportive. I would happily recommend Dourish and Day to anyone- and if I was to ever move again (I’m not!!)
