Exemplary. My recent experience is in respect of being a prospective tenant, and then becoming a tenant, where the management then moved to directly dealing with the Landlord. I dealt with Ellie, the lettings area manager who is excellent, so helpful and professional, and truly went above and beyond, and some of the team at Beccles were superb too, as that was easiest and closest to us to get too for some expert assistance in regard to a couple of important bits such as seeing original ID, and getting some paperwork, copied, scanned and e-mailed over to Ellie. Wonderful.

We've recently moved our property over to Alison at Durrants and it's been a real step up from what we're used to with other local agents. Alison is on top of everything – paperwork is always in order, we're kept properly in the loop, and best of all, she's quick to get viewings arranged with prospective tenants. Imogen met us at the property and is very knowledgeable and professional, once we negotiated a price with our vendors the girls were excellent no matter who we dealt with they kept us up to date with every step and helped us along the way to buying our first ever home together. Durrants are professional, communicative, friendly and honest. As a buyer you can often feel that Estate Agents are only working for the sellers interests but buying with Durrants felt like keeping both parties informed and happy was the core of the companies ethos. It’s a very emotional roller coaster trying to find the right home (especially within a certain budget).
I would like to say a special thank-you to Gabi Wones for making my sale finally happen and for being so supportive along the journey. They are totally useless as they gave my keys to a second party without checking with me so for a whole month I was not aware that they didn't have keys for my brothers flat that I was trying to sell so how could they do viewings without keys to the flat
And when I cancelled the contract they told me I had the keys. But they had given the keys to someone without my permission... Sorry Durrants I will not be recommening you to any body l know.. I think you are an absolute shambles as when I asked for the keys you didn't have any idea where they were
. It's not big and it's not clever to mislead your clients in a small town as incompetents soon spreads. And for one I will definitely won't recommend you.

The viewing was on time and professionally done, but after that the communication was dire, as the property had been on the market for 7 months with no offers and we are cash buyers, we phoned in a cheeky offer, took 3 phone calls before someone rang back to say they had the offer and to ask if we could go higher. which we can. the next thing we see was a SSC sign on Rightmove. Common decency would have been to at least ring us or email to say sorry but we have a high offer. So we rang to be told that this offer will probably fall through. Sorry guys, but this is not the way I wish to do business and hope that when we do find a property it isn't with Durrants
