Sold my Mother's retirement flat through Farr O'Neill. Zaheeda was extremely helpful throughout the entire process and clearly knows her market when it comes to retirement properties. Not only is Zaheeda knowledgeable but she actively sought to match the property to potential buyers - a service rarely found these days in my experience. Would have no hesitation in recommending. (Edit : This review was originally written about 2 years ago but Google have only just decided they couldn't publish it).

Can't speak highly enough of Andy and the team. They looked after our rental property and then went the extra mile when we sold our property and had numerous hurdles to overcome. If you are selling in Buckhurst Hill I would certainly recommend him and his team.

Highly recommended. We have just sold our flat through Farr O'Neill and both Andy and Zaheeda have been great throughout the whole process. They were pragmatic and honest when we were in the process of selling, which we really appreciated (we don't need the promising the earth and failing to deliver that you get with some estate agents). When we did sell, they were both attentive, responsive and efficient throughout the whole process. At the end, we did have great difficulties with our buyer moving the goalposts and members of the flats freehold. Andy especially was professional, informative and so helpful helping field the questions, concerns, reviewing the different contracts and managing our difficult buyer. The whole situation was very stressful but would have been far worse had we not been in the safe hands of Andy and Zaheeda. I couldn't recommend these guys highly enough and if ever we need an estate agent again (hopefully not for a very long time), we would definitely recommend Farr O'Neill.

Speaking as a tenant looking to move within the area I found them to be very quick, helpful and professional. Sabrina was always knowledgeable about the properties she was showing and kept me updated with the situation around them right from my first interest, through making an offer, to dealing with the paperwork. She has always been straightforward, communicative, and easy to deal with. I found myself having to move in a hurry in a very stressful situation and felt she went above and beyond to make it go smoothly.
Also - literally the only estate agents I've dealt with in 2022 who say they will call you back, then actually do so!

I have contacted Farr O'Neil for first time. Customer care is very poor because by phone conversation they don't like to hear customer's property inquiry, event though avoid to tell their name who is speaking with customer. During the conversation suddenly disconnected my phone call that I cannot judge whether is it intentionally or a sudden interruption. I am not happy because they want very quick customer all details but don't want to answer their name or qustomer queries.

Sabrina went over and above. leaving a country of birth to this one she took care of many things over and above what would normally be expected. many other estate agents would not talk to us as we were not in country yet, or wanted high upfront rental amounts, not farroneil. they were outstanding. would recommend them every time

Farr O'neil were an absolute breath of fresh air to deal with when looking for a flat to lease in the area. After having a few poor experiences dealing with letting agents in the past, these guys flipped my opinion of this industry on its head and they really set the bar high!
Sabrina especially, went above and beyond to help me secure my new flat and the aftercare since I moved in has been nothing but perfect.
Extremely friendly, helpful and professional from the start and their response time whether it be correspondence wise, or actioning something that needs to be sorted, has been absolutely on point. Couldn't ask for more!

6 years ago I bought our home through Farr O'Neil. I found Andy and Graham very helpful. So when it came to selling our home Farr O'Neil was the obvious choice. We have no regrets whatsoever. In a slowing market, they sold our home. At each stage they kept in touch with us. Very friendly. Definitely recommend them.

I had various issues with the property I was selling but Andy, in particular, went above and beyond eg. by facilitating extra surveyor visits to the house. They kept communication open with myself and my buyer. Their commission rate was competitive when compared to other agents in the area.

I recently had the good fortune to purchase my property with Farr O' Neil. The service I received was excellent. Unfortunately there was an issue with a burst pipe at the property due to cold weather after my offer had been accepted but with the cooperation of Farr O' Neil in particular Andy, I was kept up-to-date at each stage of the process. I really feel that Andy went above and beyond the call of duty and thereby made the purchase process seamless. I have had experience with other agents before but the quality of service at Farr O' Neil for me is unsurpassed.

We experienced an incredibly unprofessional and disappointing experience with Farr O’Neil (James Farr). We agreed a purchase price for a property of one of his clients after subsequent viewings, correspondence, offers to which a final price was agreed. We began to conduct proceedings with solicitors, surveyors and finalising our mortgage. James and his client pulled out days later, agreeing a private sale for the property to which James shared he had no knowledge of, which we find incredibly hard to believe forcing us to abandon the purchase prior to exchange. It is both unethical and downright unacceptable behaviour from both Farr O’Neil and their vendor to show the property to another buyer post the agreeing an accepted price and allowing a buyer to commit both time, efforts and costs in a process which was severely wasted all round. We would therefore not recommend Farr O’Neil, particularly if you want transparency, respect, trust and most importantly integrity in a process in either buying or selling a property. Avoid at all costs.
