Ed and Simon’s straightforward and honest approach made this stressful experience far less painful over what was a trying time in the market. The ability to text rather than just call was a huge bonus to help me with a very busy day job. We completed in 4 working weeks (surrounding Christmas) after an outstanding job from F&C and our solicitors at Holmes and Hills. Moving will always be a strain unless the laws are changed that allow either party to pull out of the deal right up until exchange, but Ed did all he could to lessen the worry so we’re very grateful for that.

The photographs and virtual tour were very impressive and the agents who then conducted the pre-sale tours were respectful and efficient. Recently both sold and purchased a house through F&C chelmsford. Ed , Simon and Jinny provide a brilliant,friendly and proffessional service, in particular Jinny who kept a long chain of people up to date and punctual with thier responses. At times we felt without that, it would of all fell apart.
Cannot recommend them highly enough , and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Absolutely terrible service. We listed our home with Fine & Country and had 8 viewings. We were advised that Ed would conduct them whilst we were out. For one viewing he lost the key. A second viewing he came with his wife and children and the children needed to use the bathroom and the third viewing he left the hot tub open, with the heater on for 24 hours. In addition he acted as broker when we tried to sell further items to the buyer and was dishonest and lied about what he was doing. We would never use him again or recommend him. Interesting to note that the buyer of our property has given Ed a fantastic review on here!
I have noted the buyer’s response and even that distorted and untruthful!

After 18 months of inactivity with my previous well known agent, I switched to Fine and Country in Chelmsford. My advice would be take the option of using there professional photographer, for my house he was instrumental in the sale. The fact the agents manage and attend all of the viewings and give feedback for each viewing was important to me. I instantly had 8 viewings in the first weekend, opposed to 4 in 18 months with the other agent, achieving a fair price with a good ( qualified buyer). The negotiation although difficult; as I was dealing with an ex was made possible with the vast experience of Simon and Ed. The guys are always accessible and have full time ex-solicitor chasing the chain in the background, with regular updates. Professionalism at its best!!.

Ed Casson was very thorough with his approach and the Matterport on-line system of viewing really hi-lighted the interior of our home to potential buyers. The viewings were arranged around us and we quickly gained the utmost trust in Ed as he carried out the viewings without us in attendance. The property quickly sold.
