It's been a difficult time to try to line a sale up for interested buyers while also looking for a new place. The team however stayed on the ball throughout the year, gave regular suggestions & updates, and stayed in touch.
Sam especially gave the selling process his all and made sure everything progressed smoothly once we secured an offer, and was very mindful in guiding us through the process, and staying in contact with us, the buyers, and both solicitors! No notes; it was as transparent and stress-free as a house move can be. Thank you

Worst letting agency I’ve ever dealt with – avoid Foxtons at all costs
Irented Flat 51, Loop Court, Enderby Wharf, SE10 through Foxtons, and I can confidently say this was the worst rental experience I’ve ever had.
At the end of my tenancy, the landlord tried to unfairly deduct over £2,000 from my deposit with completely false claims – including £1,500 for “lost rent” and charges for cleaning that were never needed.
Rather than protecting me or acting as a fair middleman, Foxtons did nothing. They allowed the landlord to submit these ridiculous claims and held part of my money for over 6 months, even when it was obvious the charges had no legal ground.
I had to fight this alone through MyDeposits dispute resolution, where the adjudicator reviewed all evidence and ruled that the landlord was entitled to £0.00. That’s right – not a single penny. Yet Foxtons still kept £180 of my deposit without justification, even after the final decision. I’m now chasing them to return what legally belongs to me.
The communication was poor, their handling of the deposit was completely unprofessional, and as a tenant, I felt ignored, unsupported, and disrespected throughout the process.
If you value your time, money, and sanity, stay far away from Foxtons. There are plenty of other agencies out there who actually follow the law and respect tenants. I would never recommend Foxtons to anyone.

I had a superb experience working with Sam and Florence from Foxtons Greenwich Estate Agents! They were really on the ball with the status of the coveyancing and could provide regular updates on what was happening through the home purchase process. They also made sure that the overall process was progressing smoothly for myself which was absolutely super!
Sam was also very very helpful and kept a look out on potential properties around the Greenwich area through the year as I was working with him, he was an absolute star to work with and I can't recommend him more as an estate agent to work with.
Overall, it was a great experience working with Foxtons Greenwich! Wonderful overall experience for sure!

We would never have found our perfect flat without Layla at Foxtons Greenwich.
We were looking to rent in a very specific area and all the local estate agents wanted to do was take down your email address and send you their junk mail - no interest in whether something fitted your brief or not.
We were really losing heart until we called in at Foxtons. We met Layla and found her to be professional, friendly, kind and most of all very interested in what we wanted. She showed us a couple of properties and agreed they weren't for us.
We were on holiday in Portugal when a WhatsApp came through from Layla to tell us a flat was being advertised the next day and she thought it fitted out brief and she was right. She held our hand remotely through the whole process and now we have our perfect home in London. I am confident that if it weren't for Layla we would still be looking.

I originally left a 5-star review for the agent who helped me find the flat, as they were friendly and efficient during the search and signing process. However, my experience with Foxtons after signing the contract has been very disappointing.
I was told I would receive assistance setting up utility bills through a partner company ("Help Me Fix" or something similar), but I never received any follow-up. Despite multiple emails and phone calls to the agent, I received no response or support.
As a result, I had to figure everything out on my own—asking neighbors and my landlord to identify the providers. I didn’t know where the meters were (for example, the water meter is in a locked communal area only accessible through building management). Because I couldn’t provide an initial meter reading, I received a very high first water bill.
I had hoped for better post-contract support from Foxtons, especially considering the promises made before signing. Unfortunately, my experience has been frustrating, and I’m not happy with the level of service provided after moving in.

Booked a viewing for a property. 2 of us rushed back after work to meet at the property. Letting agent didn't turn up nor tell us the viewing wasn't going ahead. Attempted to call their mobile and office number numerous times. No one bothered to pick up. Haven't heard from them since. Property we tried to view is still on the market at reduced price to when we wanted to see it and we have found somewhere else.

If you're selling your property I'd advise you to seriously consider whether you want to put up with the service. To sum it up there have been supposed viewings where I only find out they didn't take place after the fact when I asked about them (no proactive warning) so I've left my property for no reason in these scenarios. All a tactic to make them seem like they're getting traction when they aren't in my opinion. This happened twice with two separate foxtons staff Sam and Amy. They hook you in with a high price then try and get you to drop 8% straight away. Then it takes you calling them up again to find out oh wait let's just reduce it again. Absolute charlatans. Some people will fall for this BS but not me I'm afraid. Just de-listed with them. To have the audacity to charge 2.5% for the dishonesty they provide I really hope this review helps someone avoid wasting their time.

Hi, I had many troubles as a student looking for properties around the area. But this agency were no help! They infact made it 10 time more stressful!We were lied to by 2 of the Agents (Danielle and Mia) regarding hidden and extra charges, this is after asking twice during both viewings to make sure there weren’t any. Which both responded “None.” The move in dates of the properties would also change every time we would speak to different people or even the same person on a different day. Danielle also did not respond to our offer for one of the flats for 3 and a half days then proceeded to patronise us saying “you know how we said the market moves really fast…, well the flat is gone”. May I add this is also after her saying she is available 24/7 which obviously was her being nice and we’re not expecting her to be available 24/7 however 3 and a half working days to reply is a lot. We, as flatmates, received around 25 phone calls within 5 days from different people saying the complete opposite things to us. The communication within the agency is 0 to nothing! Regarding these issues, I phoned up to see if anything could be arranged in regards to a change of their website as currently it says they are student friendly, which is in itself false information. I spoke to a woman who, from what i understood, was called Nazia. After offering my concerns, she hung up on me and refused to answer my call back. I would not recommend this agency to anyone. Student or not. They are extremely unreliable, unorganised and very unprofessional!

Although I didn't end up getting the place Sam McCaig showed me due to location change of buying a house, I had the best experience with Sam, the information he provided me really helped me take into account everything required in the buying process, my actual estate agents weren't the best so I was really happy I met Sam initially who prepared me and suggested Mortgage Advisers Alexander Hall who were also fantastic. I've been using Foxtons to manage my property for a year. While they're prompt at collecting their fees, their service falls short in every other aspect. When my tenant moved out, I paid for a check-out report, but it was never conducted, and Foxtons ignored my requests for a refund. As a landlord, this lack of a report means I have to cover damage and cleaning costs out of my own pocket. I won't be using Foxtons in the future.

Was trying to sell flat for ages with no luck. I engaged with Foxtons Greenwich and they were very quick and efficient at getting interested buyers on board. I didn't quite get my asking price but in a tricky market did well enough. They also reimbursed me 75% for what I paid for PurpleBricks!
They were very professional and communicative - particular shoutouts to Florence and Alexander who were fantastic throughout!
They are more expensive than a lot of what's on the market, but a lot of what's on the market isn't good enough and you get what you pay for.
Highly recommended and would use again.

My 5 star rating is in relation to Sam McCaig. I have found the whole process of selling my flat hugely time consuming and stressful but, as soon as Sam came on board, he took all the pressure away from me. While my initial experience with Foxtons' website was imperfect, after telephoning I was quickly put through to an estate agent. From this point onwards the service I received was explary.
I was shown around two properties by Hafsa Meho, who was professional, courteous and helpful. She was able to provide relevant and pertient details for both peroperties and the areas they were in. As she drove me to the second property, she offered a cheerful running commentary and answered my questions.
I decided soon after viewing the second property to put in an offer. After sending an application for tenancy to Hafsa, she quickly contacted the landlord and gave me rapid updates as they considered my offer. After acceptance, my application for tenancy was quickly, efficiently, and flawlessly processed using Foxtons' website and with help from Hafsa when I required it.
Thsi service made the stressful experience of house hunting in central London into a much more pleasant experience and within a day of viewing a property I was interested in, I had been given everything I needed to secure it without incident, worry, or hassle.

Fortunately for me, though, Hafsa Meho was enormously helpful and kindly guided me through each stage of the process. I was truly humbled by the patience with which Hafsa explained each element to me and the careful attention that she paid to my individual requirements. Whereas speaking to agents with some agencies felt like pulling teeth, a phone call or email from Hafsa always left me feeling encouraged, hopeful, and excited about the whole process. Many times, on spotting a good property with a different agency, I would wish to myself that it was listed with Foxtons so that Hafsa could help me to act on it. With so much of the renting process done these days through remote, impersonal, online forms, it was always a breath of fresh air to speak with Hafsa and receive the sort of human support that an online form can never provide. My girlfriend and I enquired about a property and received a call from Foxton's with a viewing arranged in less than 12 hours (other estate agents taking up to 4 days to respond).

Fantastic assistance! Rachel Bird and Harry Reid did a stellar job with my conveyance at times of Covid and in the difficult circumstances dictated by the new cladding regulations. Harry showed excellent mediation skills and thoroughly safeguarded my interests, while preserving some welcome care for the buyer. They were both extremely responsive and supportive, when things were difficult. For all these reasons, I have nothing but praise for both of them and the whole Team at the Greenwich Office. Many of them contributed to this success by showing the flat to possible buyers and they were all great, courteous and punctual. However, Harry and Rachel are directly praiseworthy for all their efforts and support. Spending a bit more money on a conveyance with Foxtons does pay and I would again and again highly recommend them!

I was struggling to find anything according to my requirements during tough COVID time. Flat hunting and talking to different agents was very difficult and I could not find my perfect home until I spoke to Hafsa at Foxtons Greenwich.
She is amazing at her job, very professional and she didn’t give up on helping me no matter how difficult I was. She made an extra step by going to the property herself and give me a video call to show around, when I myself could not travel due to lockdown. In addition, she is making sure the property is all ready before I move in, by being transparent all the time with any fault if the property has.
Divyesh was the manager I spoke next, who dealt with my offer deal for the flat. Again an amazing professional, calm, helpful and answered my endless query and helped me on a Saturday.
I can’t thank them both enough to help me secure a perfect home for myself.

That's the kind of service I got with Jade Martin during my house search. Jade has been such an amazing addition to this search. Tried to arrange a valuation and was told they would be around at 7pm. Later on I received a call saying they couldn't do this time but couldn't offer me an alternative time. A few emails went back and forth during which the man assured me he was "working frivolously" to find a suitable time and that they would never cancel on a client (apart from me apparently...). If they couldn't arrange a simple valuation I shudder to think how they would be able to show anyone my flat.
There are lots of other estate agents locally who don't cancel after making an appointment. I accept foxtons is quasi evil, but it would be handy if they were competent.

At least six days ago a plumber contractor working for Foxtons replaced a lavatory in a neighbour's flat managed by Foxtons and left both the lavatory and a large box in the garden of the property - see photograph. The main lavatory was found in the blue recycling bin. So far it has taken seven phone calls and over five days in an effort to get the dumped items removed. The staff at Foxtons are very pleasant and speak with silver tongues but again and again promises to take action have had no result. As the property owner is out of the country who did they think would take responsibility for the dumped items? At best they are inefficient, at worst they don't care.

As a landlord, I'm having really hard time dealing with Foxtons. It's really hard to get any response from them.
Hired them to clean the house, it has not been done properly, the inventory check shows the property was dusty, nevertheless Foxtons refused to refund the payment. Having further more issues with returning deposit... I wish I never started dealing with them.

The people I spoke to were all friendly and helpful, but I kept being offered properties, by phone and email, which were way out of my budget and a long way from the areas we wanted to live in, which was quite annoying as house hunting saw me getting loads of email alerts from different agents, I didn't need ones that didn't match my criteria.
Also, although it's not particularly the agency's fault unless they failed to alert existing tenants to impending viewings, some of the places we looked at were really quite messy, which really didn't help sell them to us.

Vicci in the Greenwich branch was very efficient and effective in helping me locate an apartment in Greenwich. She quickly understood the kind of place I needed and gave me a thorough review of what was on offer within and around the area. I am very happy with Vicci and Foxtons. I had heard rumblings of hard sell and Foxtons being difficult estate agents to work with but my search and exchange was very smooth. Lovely. I wouldn't hesitate to refer more people to Foxtons.

We were very impressed by Vicci at the Greenwich branch at Foxtons. She was always accommodating with our need to view properties at certain times in the evening due to work obligations, she would pick us up by car wherever it suited us, and never did we feel like we were being pressured at any point. We were allowed as much time as necessary to view each property, and then we were given room to make our final decision. Vicci was also attentive throughout the purchase process, always responding to our queries in a timely manner and again never putting us under any undue pressure, particularly when our mortgage took longer to materialise than we'd expected. We're incredibly happy with our new flat purchase in Greenwich, and I certainly wouldn't hesitate to recommend Foxtons to other potential buyers in the area.

I initially registered with Foxtons to receive regular mailings when I was starting my property search over the summer. Since that time, I have not viewed any properties with Foxtons because either there have been none that are priced competitively compared to others on the markets, or I have been put off by aggressive agents calling me more than I liked. I did not appreciate being called when at work, when the agent calling had no new information or properties relevant to me.
Since completing the purchase of a property I have been receiving about three phone calls a week from Foxtons. During each call I have to explain the situation that I am no longer searching for a property and wish to be taken off the mailing list.
This is now verging on harassment and if I continue to receive calls I will be referring this to the ombudsman - it is seriously harming your brand reputation as I have friends who are also experiencing the same volume of calls after requests to be taken off call lists. We will never be using Foxtons as an agent as a result of this unprofessional behaviour.

Recently dealt with Divyesh and team for renting out our property. What an overwhelming experience! The customer service was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful before we've signed the contract. Unfortunately we've made the experience that the estate agent told us that the apartment would be professionally cleaned before we would move in and when we moved in nothing has been done. After calling and asking them to please clean the apartment, we've been told that nothing has been and will be cleaned. Also when we picked up the keys no one showed is around the apartment or gave us a tour of the apartment or induction. It was just like 'here are the keys and off you go'. So overall the pre-contract service was great and the post-contract service poor. Unfortunately!

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER - during our 10 week business rental they refused to get anyone to fix the toilets which would not flush. At the end of the tenancy we were charged for a key that we'd never received in the first place and plants that were fine, in all only £190 but it's the dishonesty thats so irritating. They could not care less, I'd put NO STARS if I could.

The entire experience of dealing with Foxtons has been very professional. But I must give a very special mention to Mr. Kristian Muzzelle. He is extremely attentive, smart, has wonderful knowledge of the market, understands what a buyer needs and approaches his work with honesty and transparency. I have dealt with a lot of sales negotiator who lie blatantly, are arrogant and treat buyers terribly in a manipulative way just in order to get as much money out of their pockets as possible. When I decided to place my flat on sales I had the placed valued by a couple of different estate agents.
I decided to go with Foxton Greenwich because Chris ( Venter) made me feel I was in good hands.

We had flat on the market with Foxtons for a few months not achieving the goal. We had lots of viewings and when the offer finally came through it was badly managed by the agent. Miscommunication was the main reason it fall through days before expected exchange. It was quite frustrating. With new agent we had 4 offers within a month of marketing and a very professional help throughout the process leading to successful exchange. Foxtons customer service leaves much to be desired!
