He was very accommodating in arranging viewings matching my availability and followed up my inquiry quickly. Submitting an offer to purchase was straightforward. All communicatio were prompt, which frankly is what matters the most to me. I can't speak for selling a property, but fir buying I can certainly recommend this branch.

As executors of my father in laws will the property was placed on the market in February 2025 after probate had been granted.Emi Mustafa,Branch Manager,attended the property and was very helpful and understanding and suggested an asking price of £475,000.He called back a few days later with 4 or 5 members of the team to introduce them.<br>We were very lucky as we got to have Samantha Wilson looking after<br>us.From day one she was a delight to deal with.Nothing was too much trouble especially when prospective purchasers dropped out because their buyers had their mortgage offer cancelled.<br>We gave those people about 3 months to find fresh purchasers but in the end the property was put back on the market at £450,000.<br>We felt a better figure would have been £455,000 but Samantha suggested the lower figure as it would place the property in a better<br>category. And she was right!<br>The new buyers were first time buyers and offered the asking price being guided by Samantha.<br>The sale proceeded not without alarms such as the buyers builder discovering asbestos which is another story but once again Samantha found a way to guide us through .<br>Some days I don't know how she managed to find time for other clients.I never met the purchasers but felt as if I knew them because Samantha was acting as a go between.<br>But we got there in the end.Samantha was a true professional and nothing seemed to bother her.<br>The whole experience with Foxtons was great and I would recommend to anyone , buying or selling.<br>And to cap it all they recommended a firm of solicitors who were also excellent.

We enquired about a property, and Joe suggested showing us two others. With very little time on the day, we decided to go ahead, and to our surprise the second property was absolutely beautiful and perfect. We chose to continue viewing a few more properties, but we kept coming back to what eventually became our first home. We never knew we wanted a Victorian house, and what a wonderful surprise it has been and what a lovely home it has become.
The sale was managed by Emi, and we couldn’t be more delighted with how everything was handled. Our final offer was accepted on 10th October, with completion on 19th December. This shows that things can run smoothly when everyone is determined and efficient. We would highly recommend their Blackheath office and services, as both Joe and Emi have been excellent.

With Foxtons you get what you pay for. So glad I changed to them as the previous agents provided hardly any viewings.

Working with BETH EVANS and JOE BURROWS was the best decision we've made as a first-time home buyers.
Unlike most agents, Beth was very polite and informative when we viewed the flats. At later stages, for personal reasons we required to complete the deal earlier as agreed, and Beth made every effort to ensure that happens. I was incredibly fortunate to work with Daniel Clarke from Blackheath Foxtons in successfully finding my first rental property in London.
From the outset, I found his manner to be very professional and amiable. Even when I had missed my viewing slot, he went out of the way to reschedule a slot the very same day and the helped me to fill out the tenancy application form.

Staying in a flat managed by foxtons Blackheath has truly been a nightmare. At the beginning of my tenency, I was told it would be fine to add a flatmate onto the lease (simple £50), but I’m now on the fifth month of trying to add my friend to the lease. My calls are never returned, my emails ignored. I’ve been told to fill out forms that didn’t exist. My friend is disabled and has lost their housing benefit due to foxton’s gross negligence. Thousands of pounds lost. For weeks I will call nearly everyday, but it’s so demoralizing sometimes I just give up and stop calling for a few days. In these times the process is completely stalled. Not once have they ever chased anything up without me begging. Please do not ever stay in a flat managed by foxtons and in particular avoid Harry Fox as a property manager. They seem to only have care for the wealthy landlord here. The tenant will be left to rot.

Shameful. I can't speak for all Foxtons branches, the experience I have had with Foxtons Blackheath is abysmal. Communication is non-existent. Constantly chasing for simple updates but being ignored for weeks on end. Often, blatantly ignored. Completely unsupportive in any situations we faced with our rented property. Sent people out to play devil's advocate when landlord visited property and made suggestions at the time that seemed reasonable for both landlord and myself but this was just to appease temporarily. Nothing was followed through and when I queried this, I was ignored. Had to get the council involved to support with damp and mould in the property as Foxtons provided no support whatsoever. I will actively encourage anyone to avoid Foxtons at all costs. To anyone looking to rent a property, I would avoid Foxtons, especially if Foxtons are 'managing' the property.

I wish I had read the real reviews on Foxtons and not the fake 5 stars they got on Google.
We have been stuck with them for few weeks trying to rent out a property through them. The branch manager of the Blackheath office Tim Standing came and valued the property way over the prices in my area. I expressed my doubts and as every door to door sales man he started with his script, lying on how quick he would rent out our property and the million applicants he already had in the database ready to rent it. Once you sign the contract all applicants will disappear. After 3 weeks and only few viewings they have not been able to let my property, despite all the 5 stars feedback received on the property prensentation. We called Tim Standing to express our disappointment, and all of the sudden, we received an offer from an applicant, but after few hours it was pulled out, it was fake, just to throw smoke in our eyes, making us believe they were able to rent it out at that price. Tim Standing has lied to us in different occasions and has been caught red handed. We decided to remove the property from Foxtons and also in this circumstance, Tim showed his true nature. Not even a phone call to ask us why. Removing the property from Foxtons was the best choice as we managed to rent out our property privately in 1 viewing.

While it is common knowledge that estate agents should never lack charisma, those at Blackheath’s Foxtons are more than merely personable; they are also great at what they do. While I have only spoken with one realtor and the manager, they both impressed very much, enough to take the time for this review. (I rarely do this, but then again, I am indebted.) It was difficult for me to rent- nearly impossible if I’m honest- and between the two of them, they made it work very smoothly. They were patient, kind, and willing to think outside the box.
From the first moment I heard Sarala on the phone, she exceeded my expectations with her warmth and her efficiency. She actually knew what I wanted more than I did myself! Now, I write this review from the first flat that she showed me, which would never have been on my list to begin with! I hope to stay here for a decade, I’m not exaggerating. I love it, and I have Sarala to thank for this wonderful home. She is wise beyond her years and presents a rare, paradoxical combination of assurance and humility, both in her composure and in her ability to solve the complicated situations that arise all too often. She made herself available to me when she didn’t have to, shared the stress of my uncertainty, and somehow, made me smile through it all. We recently sold our house through the Foxtons Blackheath branch and in particular worked very closely with Sam and Emi. The service from start to finish was beyond 5*. From initially valuing our house and getting it on the market, to organising viewings and receiving offers to finally the move out process, Sam and Emi were both fantastic and made sure that we had all the information we needed every step of the way. We were initially a little weary of using Foxtons as our house is between Hither Green and Catford (so not next to the Blackheath office), however their huge range of people interested in viewing properties through them meant that we had lots of viewings arranged immediately and accepted an offer within a couple of weeks of it being on the market. Because of Sam and Emi the whole process was completely faultless, smooth and meant that we were able to move on and buy our dream home, we can't thank you enough.

Foxtons is very helpful when you want to rent from them (=give them money), but it pretty much stops there.
Property management depends completely on the person who manages your property. During a 7-year tenancy, we had 5-6 different property managers, 2 of them good, rest of them an absolute mess. The good ones actually responded to emails/calls, and got things fixed. The bad ones did not know how to communicate at all, left us hanging for a week with a massive leak from out kitchen ceiling that affected our electrics and made the lamp flicker like crazy. No response, no help, just a dark kitchen with a bucket on the floor. So it really depends if you are lucky enough to get a property manager who cares at all. The fact that we had a different person almost every year says something about Foxtons as a company, if their staff turnover is so big.
And now, when we wanted to leave the flat... what a nightmare!!
We sent a written termination of tenancy to Foxtons, and nothing happened for about 4 weeks. Then suddenly, our phones started ringing constantly. They wanted to book about 5 visits/week to our flat, either for market value estimation, photography, general check, viewings for different people etc. This would have probably been fine last year (although annoying), but now, during coronavirus times I found this completely unacceptable. I understand that these need to be done, but there are ways to make it safe for everyone.
There was not the slightest try from Foxtons to arrange as little visits as possible (e.g. do photography and other stuff on the same visit). They also kept calling us with less than 10h notice that they wanted to bring someone to view the flat. When I raised this issue via email, that I do not think it's right to bring strangers into our home multiple times a week every week until we leave during a global pandemic, and asking if they could for example arrange one viewing day/week and bring the people in stages, they called my husband to ask "what exactly is the problem here". They basically ignored me completely, did not respond and called my husband to try to sort the matter out. We were also sent multiple emails with wrong information, for example wrong dates and times for Check-out reports. When we emailed back to ask is this wrong, we never got a response.
And then there's issues with deposit, of course.
MyFoxtons portal asks for the tenant to wait and that the deposit will usually be returned about 10 days after the vacate date. We waited, and then emailed about 2 weeks later when there was no communication. We received an email apologising for the delay (blaming coronavirus lock down of course, even though they can easily work from home during a lock down), saying that we should get an update by then of the week (it was Wednesday). Another 2 weeks passed, and no information. I sent another email, another week passed and no response. I sent another email, and then finally, 6 weeks after the vacate date we received information stating that there will be deductions on our deposit (also wrongly held for a clean we are not obligated to pay, as we were not provided a clean when moving in). We disputed it, and had to wait for 12 days again before we got a response, that actually did not respond to any of our complaints, just said that the comments have been passed to the landlord, which I already knew. The non-disputed part of the deposit has now been returned, 2 MONTHS LATER, but no news at all for the disputed part that is still held by Foxtons.
I think this is all absolutely disgusting, they are very keen on getting you in their flats and taking your money, but when it comes to helping the tenant or respecting their rights when they want to leave, the customer service is non-existent. We were their tenants for 7 years (not sure why) always paid our rent on time and never cause any kind of trouble, and get treated like this.
Avoid their flashy lights they put up when you're looking for a home, it only goes downhill from there.

We moved into a property in Blackheath in August 2018 for a 2 year tenancy. In May 2019 we had a leak from the toilet under the floor which made the wood floor in the hallway, kitchen and living room swell and raise up. It was so bad we had water coming up through the cracks and multiple walls had damp all along them. The floor came up so much the living room door could no longer open and was jammed against the floor.
Every cry for help and attempt to get it resolved got ignored. Foxtons failed to keep me updated at every opportunity. Engineers didn't turn up and we wouldn't hear anything for weeks. The house is unsafe and no one cared. The leak eventually got fixed after a few months so water is no longer leaking. But the floor is still raised (around 2 inches) and ruined. Walls are damp, skirting boards are 2 inches off the floor. Still hasn't been solved more than a year later and we are due to move out.
We have no kitchen lights since Jan 2020 ( 7 months from this review). I heard a fizzing one day and the next day none of them worked. I am still waiting on an update apparently. No one has contacted me and i have chased many times.
Everything is documented and i have email trails for everything to show how i have been ignored consistently for 14+ months.

I had my property listed with a different agency prior to using Foxtons, and there was a notable difference in the service I received. The staff at Foxtons have made letting out my property as stress-free as possible, and during the pandemic have still managed to get tenants in quickly. I was impressed with how the team adapted their work throughout the lockdown so that interest in my property was maintained. As a first time 'land-lady' I have had numerous questions about the process and these have been responded to efficiently, thoroughly and with patience. I would recommend using Foxtons to others.

I always thought Foxtons is a responsible company with their tenants' best interest at heart.
However, throughout my entire tenancy, I was denied access to the electric meter reader of my property. I was being told that these are smart meters and they automatically send readings to British Gas and that I cannot access these meters. After the end of tenancy, I learnt that other flats in the building (managed by different letting agency) had access to these meters and they are not smart meters at all. After my tenancy I have been facing an enormous bill for electricity I did not use because of this mistake.
Throughout the entire process Foxtons have been unresponsive and currently sent me an information that Landlord claimed for the whole deposit without explaining any deductions made.
I do not recommend them as they will give you false information and will take no responsibility for their actions. Furthermore they will not respond and will only want money from you.

I have never been sent any information or updates. So it's thumbs down for that estimate agent. Why build up people's hope and then just disregard them. That is beyond me.

We said thank you before we moved to them. But We regret to do it. They arranged the cleaning date for our moving date! Because they provide us a very bad cleaning services, after the "cleaning" we even found a dead mouse in the property and everywhere was mouldy. The carpet was totaly wet like a lake and we could not walk in the property without shoes. They explained it that the cleaning team did a very deep clean, because of the carpet in wet. But it is just a lie. It is the most terrible experience we have ever had. I attached all the evidence of professional cleaning. I do not know how I can explain this bad experience with the words but we found even a dead mouse under the washing machine. Spider webs and mouldy surfaces and more... We reported all of them and they said that they can send the cleaning team to the property. Seriously? Even we stricly warned them they were walking with their shoes on the carpet and left everywhere in mouldy and stinky. Of course we denied it because of these. The boiler was not working since we moved and its January. Luckily, we found a heater. Luckly our Landlord changed it with a new one in a week. We reported each problem we have. We were expecting a solution to compensate for the time, money spent and unsatisfied situation from Foxtons and Landlord. I have been tried to be kind and just explain my problem directly to them, I was not planning to tell all of this on Google but Foxtons Blackheath rather to blame to the Landlord and they did not provide a solution together for my extra expenses and precious time I wasted. Because of that I decided to share the realty here. It is a completely a disappointment.

The worst experience. Over priced my property with absolutely no intention to push. Never giving feedback nor answering calls. I had viewings cancel where by I stayed in with my 2 children so the viewing could go ahead to never be told it was cancelled.
Over rated, pig ignorant and more interested in themselves than actually helping out.
The fees are ridiculous and the level of service is appalling. I wouldn’t waste your money going to foxtons I would do your research and find an estate agent who isn’t money grabbing or time wasters go with an agent who I honest and who is eager to sell your property.
Most estate agents fees differ but never to the extent of Foxtons.

First off, I'd like to say that we've had mixed experiences with Foxtons agents before.
This time we've had the pleasure of dealing with Connie Haddon who, unlike a lot of real estate agents we've had to deal with over the years, actually listens to every one of your requirements and never ever bothers you with properties that don't suit your needs or fit your price range. She's incredibly professional and answers all your questions with fantastic diligence. She's always friendly and quick with her replies. I highly recommend this branch of Foxtons and wish them a lot of success.

My experience with Sergiu Gota, sales negotiator from Foxtons Blackheath, when trying to buy a property in SE13 was not good and I wouldn't recommend him. He was pleasant to deal with at the start, but he didn't have the required knowledge to sell a leasehold property (we had to explain to him what a section 20 was) and gave us false answers that we took at face value but were later proved to be untrue. If we had gone ahead and bought the property we would have been hit with a hefty repairs bill right from the start that could have made our lives hell.
At the point we found out about these repairs his attitude changed completely and he started to put unnecessary pressure on us whilst still being completely cagey about the status of the property. I am sorry to say I wouldn't trust him again and would not want to deal with him again in the future.

Francis Woodhead let my house in under 24 hours which is pretty good going by any standards. Foxtons are definitely not the cheapest estate agent out there but they are efficient, have a database full of good clients and because you are paying for a good service you can demand exactly that. I've been able to catch my agent on the phone when I need him and when I need a document or anything else he sends it promptly. They also managed to get my tenant to pay 6 months upfront so that made paying the fees much more affordable on my end and gave us a lovely lump sum that we could invest. Overall, we're happy.

Do not be fooled by Foxtons Blackheath, they have fancy premises and staff in some fancy outfits but that's where it stops!
I am currently a tenant on a 3 year full management contract and how i regret it!
They use the cheapest and most unprofessional contractors to work on the properties (landlords be aware), as a tenant i have had almost 10 managers in a period of 2 years i have had to deal with. The last time a contractor came they was yanking pipes about and left the kitchen sink pipe leaking dirty water. The staff are extremely rude and will not support you as a tenant in anyway.They will not take any responsibility whatsoever when something goes wrong. Foxtons is a wolf in sheep's clothing, they will deal with like a dodgy backstreet letting agents when you need help the most. Go elsewhere, you have options both as tenants and landlords. Elliot from Foxtons was the most polite and friendly estate agent we spoke to during our search.
Although I hope I don't have to get in touch anytime soon for a rental property, I know if I'm lucky enough to consider a purchase, Foxtons will be top of my list.

I've never received such terrible service in all my life. Foxtons are currently managing my rental property and I am stunned at their poor level of service and attention. You would think paying them such high fees for their letting and property management service would at the very least entitle you to the odd correspondence and perhaps some help with the property management (I know that the title Property Management Service gives you an indication that Foxtons might actually deal with the Property Management for you as part of this service but in reality you will be left on your own to tidy up after them). Instead, what began as a minor problem has grown into necessary major refurbishments, lost tenants and lost rental income. Do not be fooled by the sparkly sales service, behind them lies a very poor excuse for a managing agent and your health and property would both be better off with one of the real local agents in Blackheath. I am appalled.
