When I had originally decided to buy a McCarthy & Stone property Green & Co were one of the Estate Agents selected by them to sell my property. (Estate agents were changed regularly). I immediately liked Mark Davies who came out to value & photograph my property. He was frank & honest & gave me confidence that my house would sell. When I decided to buy a property elsewhere I personally instructed Green & Co because they had achieved the most viewings for me. I found liaising with them was very easy; they happily organised viewings whilst I was away on holiday. After a buyer was identified I found Charlotte helpful, informative & she was always at the end of the phone to deal with my queries. I also thought their fees were competitive & very reasonable. We recently had to take the sad decision to sell my mums house as she moved into a care home . We were delighted with every aspect of the service we received.
Mark who came to value the property was very well prepared & extremely knowledgeable of the property market in our area & very helpful.
Once the property was on the market the communication was fantastic from all the staff in the office . Unfortunately the first sale fell through & this was dealt with compassionately.

We got there in the end. In the space of 11 months our house was only really on the market for less than 3 weeks. Green & Co definately helped with the footfall. After the first 2 attempts, time wasters, the 3rd was a success.

I have had the best experience with the Green & Co, Walmley Office. My flat was not selling and Mark contacted me again after I had gone with alternative estate agents initially. Mark had no issues with coming on board as a second estate agent and it was sold in under two weeks. They were quick, efficient, I was able to contact them whenever I needed to. The whole process was smooth and uncomplicated. I had support and advice along the way.
I was especially happy with the friendly and supportive nature of the team involved. Hillary was involved at completion stage and talked me through things and supported me when I was quite emotional about leaving my flat and moving away from Birmingham for a new life in Devon!!….helping me to process the emotions involved in a house move. Honestly, such an amazing company to sell your house with! From the beginning, they were so professional and to be honest well priced with their fees compared to other estate agents! The photos taken of my property were great and we had lots of viewings arranged for us straight away and sold our property within days. All of the staff here couldn't have been anymore helpful throughout the whole process. The communication from them at every step was superb. In fact, April in specific was more on the ball than our solicitors and was making enquiries constantly for us and pushing for our exchange of contracts more than our solicitors! April genuinely cares at this branch and when we were worried we might have lost our sale due to our solicitors taking ages, she managed to sort everything out for us and exchanged straight away. I couldn't be more appreciative of what April did for us- she really went above and beyond and for that I couldn't recommend this estate agents any higher than I do. We also used the mortgage advisor Mandy in this branch too and she was excellent and supportive from the start and clarified multiple times figures etc. with us- she was extremely patient - which is what you want and need when making such a big decision. Thank you Green & Company for been so helpful and helping to make our dream move happen!

Found the viewing as thorough & helpful . It was on time & not rushed. I requested a paper copy of details of flat, he said he would request one. Afew days later I was rung by a Green member &. asked for my view. I again asked for a paper copy of the flat. However to date have not received a copy. As I have no printer & only a tablet to view non too easy. I would love to see aplan of flat & also.dimensions.
I do hope my request for details of any more flats in that complex especially a 2 bedroom to compare with will be honoured.

The valuer over valued the property by 20k and gave the impression it would be in demand at that price. When I turned down the first offer made and subsequently the second offer by a different buyer I was told the asking price was far to high and we wouldn't get that even if the house was closer to the Walmley boundary. I said why did your agent value it at this and I was told that they were testing the water, but this is certainly not what he said at the time. I didn't find dealing with them very pleasant at all and as the sale was following a bereavement I felt that they didn't show any understanding of the situation. I often ended up speaking to different people who sometimes didn't know the latest regarding the sale.

Recently brought a house off them, had a few issues. It was more with the seller then these, but overall they kept you in the loop and answered any questions for us, even stayed behind when we stormed down there to try find out why our move date was moved from the next day (Wednesday) to the Friday, again not their fault but with the buyer we was buying from. They were willing to help.
