After some mixed experiences with estate agents it was a relief to find Jack. He was open and honest and kept our buyer in the loop and happy despite some unexpected delays when our first house fell through. He gave good advice when it came to a realistic market value on the property as well, meaning we had realistic expectations on offers.

It was not going to be an easy sale. I was selling the property while overseas. Jack was recommended to me by some high end agents based in my country.<br><br>After a promising start we faced numerous obstacles from various parties. But the one constant through all this was Jack. Explaining and analysing every issue to me. And advising me on the options open to me.<br><br>In the end I feel we managed to complete the sale. From the moment we met Jack, we knew we were in excellent hands. He showed us around the property with genuine enthusiasm and had a strong understanding of the sellers’ situation, the house itself and the local area.<br><br>When we submitted our offer, the process was refreshingly straightforward. Jack was professional, transparent and didn’t engage in any of the usual mind games that can sometimes make buying stressful.<br><br>Throughout the conveyancing process, Jack remained closely involved and proactive. In fact, he often provided clearer and more timely updates than both our own estate agent and solicitors. When we encountered an unforeseen delay, he stepped in immediately and helped manage the situation all the way up the chain.<br><br>There were points where communication and progress higher up the chain became challenging, and it genuinely felt as though Jack was the one guiding matters forward and keeping everyone aligned. His persistence and ability to influence the right people ensured the sale continued progressing, particularly as we were working to very firm deadlines.<br><br>To add to the complexity, I am 9 months pregnant and we were operating against a non-negotiable completion timeline. Jack was absolutely fundamental in maintaining momentum and helping us reach exchange under significant pressure.<br><br>We genuinely can’t fault our experience with him and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jack to anyone. Manipulative behaviour in offer process.<br><br>Was sent an offer form to complete despite another offer being accepted? Very manipulative behaviour by taking offers by several people (to compete and raise up the prices), representing a complete waste of our time. Was shocked to receive such extremely unprofessional and disgraceful service.<br><br>Avoid this company completely.

We've had a viewing scheduled with this agency however we never actually managed to view the flat as no agent arrived. We waited around for 15mins and returned home. We called the agents 3 times as we waited but unfortunately no one picked up. 30mins after the scheduled viewing time, we received a call from Jack to ask if we're still around as he "couldn't get out of a meeting" and asked if we buzzed as the owners were home and could have showed us around (we had no knowledge of this as it was never communicted to us). Please note the viewing was not a last minute one, but arranged 2 days before, so it's just a shame our time was never prioritised.

Jack from Ivy and Stones is fabulous! I never met him as I was late for the viewing, but he made sure I was still able to view it with the owner.
I was a first time buyer and was unsure of the process, he helped me with everything, with all my doubts and queries.
I used to think an estate agent's job is just to show the house and get sales. I was completely wrong, he has done so much more than that.
This completion wasn't the easiest, there were a lot of problems between the two parties solicitors, Jack was the bridge between the two parties.
The constant following up, the constant calling and emailing from him and Jazzina's side just to make sure that the completion happens on time was insane.
They made so much efforts in getting towards completion.
When I had radio silence from my solicitor's side, it was Jack who was updating me on the things going on in the background which made me trust the process. He is a super professional and replies back within minutes regardless of the day and time.
I would 100% recommend Jack and Ivy and Stone Estate Agents to any first time buyer or even seller because i'm sure he was such a big support system to the seller when both the parties lawyers were under discussion.

We’ve just completed the sale of our property in East London (E1 near Custom House), and I can’t recommend Jack from Ivy & Stone highly enough.
From the outset, Jack was prompt in responding and gave a clear, fair, and realistic valuation. His advice felt genuinely balanced, with no overpromising – just sound judgement based on the market. He quickly arranged over 20 viewings in a short period and was extremely diligent in filtering the most suitable offers. The buyer we went with turned out to be an excellent choice.
Throughout the final stages of exchange and even post-completion, Jack remained responsive and helpful, which made a real difference in smoothing out what’s often a stressful process. Great experience from start to finish – highly recommended.

Jack Tuck is a fantastic estate agent. He was non-pressurising, offered genuine advice, made the process personable and made me feel at ease during a stressful and new process for a first-time buyer such as myself!
I felt looked after and in good hands, Jack was approachable and accessible to get further advice throughout the process.
It is a shame that he was unable to complete the process on my exchange date as he was away (which is absolutely fair!). However, the agent who was sent in on the day of the exchanging of keys was evidently completely clueless.
Overall, I would recommend this estate agency!

I reached out to Jack at Ivy & Stone when I made the spontaneous decision to sell my apartment this year, and I couldn't be more pleased with how fast and smooth the process has been so far! Jack was very knowledgeable, not only of the current market, but also the fine details of the challenges presented in selling leasehold flats in the area.
The photography team did an incredible job and they went above and beyond with the marketing of the apartment. I got an offer within days of listing going live! We were the buyers in a transaction where Jack Tuck was acting for the vendors. Nevertheless, we never felt for one moment that Jack was anything but scrupulously fair to both parties. Ours was not a straightforward sale and purchase. A number of obstacles presented themselves at various stages in the process, but, even in the face of a seemingly impossible situation, Jack continued to find solutions that ultimately led to us completing on the purchase. Jack worked incredibly hard and negotiated very skilfully with both parties over a lengthy period.
