KFH rented myself, and my downstairs neighbours flats in Kapuvar close with reoccurring cockroach infestation, mice, black mould, damp, power cuts, windows that don’t close, blocked drains, the list goes on… they are causing health issues and make the properties inhabitable.
When we report it and ask for help from the landlord who manages the property, he ignores our messages for weeks and speaks in riddles.
We tried to move out because it was not fit for living in, but KFH refused to let us leave the contract early early and their compliance team have said there is nothing they can do to help, but with the landlord ghosting us I don’t know where else to turn.
The pests were present before we moved in because when a new pest controller came, there were already mouse and roach traps laid.
Does this mean KFH have just been recycling uninhabitable properties on a high turnover with the knowledge of these persistent issues managed by a landlord that is impossible to communicate with and never sorts out problems? It would be great if they could do something to help or at least sign post where we can turn- this is a property that was on their books and they made money off so the least they can do is help the renter and perhaps hold the cowboy landlord to account? Especially when he has so clearly breached the rental agreement for both of these flats and is causing harm to the tenants

We have recently rented and moved into a property through KFH in Peckham. We were really impressed with the professionalism of the estate agent, the cleanness of the property, and the thoroughness of which documentation of the property/referencing etc was done. They used the tenancy deposit scheme appropriately too. It was easy to schedule a viewing and if anything the property was even better than the viewing suggested (although this may well be due to the diligence and careful landlords). Our only complaint was we were hoping for a 6-12 month contract and whilst we were initially assured this would be the case, we felt slightly strong-armed into signing a 36 month contract. KFH at Peckham Rye are brilliant!
KFH were not the first agent we used to sell our home. But we wish they had been: We languished for four months with less than five viewings with the previous agents but within a week of signing up with KFH, we had nearly double that number of viewings!
The team were great from the get go, they all came to have a look at the house so they knew what they were selling, they were incredibly professional and pro-active!
We sold our house within the first two weeks of being on the market with them. When the first buyer pulled out, the team were upbeat, reassuring and optimistic and they got us sold again very shortly after that.
Communication was clear and we had a named point of contact at the branch., Andree, who processed everything very quickly, replied to queries and emails promptly, kept us informed and always answered the phone.
Our house sale was not the easiest as a shared ownership leasehold/freehold sale, but I think the quality mark of any company is that they are proactive and positive when things are tough and we were in safe hands with Andree - who steered us through, keeping up to date with all parties and pushing the conveyancing forward. Thank you so much for being positive, helpful and calm.

I bought my first home from KFH about 6 months ago. The process seemed okay at the time - although they will chase you relentlessly and pointlessly to try to speed up conveyancing.
The property was left in a sorry state, to be cleared up at my own expense, and I have now dealt with 5 sets of bailiffs (and counting) hunting down the bad debts left by the previous owner and their guests.
KFH should have done some basic due diligence to protect buyers from this, seems like they care about one thing and one thing only - closing a sale for their vendor so they can grab the commission. Avoid if you can.

Well what can I say, Having used KFH previously in obtaining a House Valuation for Probate purposes. I knew instantly that I wanted to use KFH Services again to sell our family House.

In the midst of a pandemic I thought finding an affordable house that I loved would be a near impossibility but Ivan made it happen. We fell in love with a flat that fell through. His persistence got the deal done on schedule and with no surprises. From my experience of obtaining quotes for selling my flat, I know KFH pride themselves on selling properties at the market price for a fair % fee. Some other agencies lock you into higher coms and promise the seller they can beat the market (they really can't - it just lengthens the process and costs everyone more). It is therefore reassuring as a buyer to view a KFH listing.

No pushy sales pitch (the house sold itself!) just proper understanding of the local property market - and good, honest, straight forward conversations and communication between ourselves and the seller.

I give Priyesh 10/10 for deal management. The main risk of our sale was the poor performance of the buyer's solicitor, not helped by a falling market. Priyesh effectively stepped up to fill the void and manage communications with the buyer.
KFH were significantly better at getting viewings than an online agent, who was spread thinly over a wider area. Despite many more viewings, KFH were only able to attract a bid price at the same level as the online agent. However the market had fallen over this period.

We are at risk of losing our home becuase KFH have been such a completely awful lettings agent. We have reported them to the Property Ombudsman because of illegal tricks they tried to pull on us. When our tenancy was up for renewal we pleaded with our lovely landlord to switch to a lettings agent who aren’t total crook/con artists and she immediately agreed when we explained what KFH have done. All parties were happy and we were all set to have a stress-free renewal with another lettings agent who wasn’t trying to pull dodgy tricks and rip me and my landlord off, however KFH has now threatened to sue my landlord if she does this so we are fearful we are going to lose our lovely family home that we have lived in for two years. I have nothing good to say about KFH they have messed us around and lied to us at every point. Just full of dodgy tricks and lies trying to ruin everyone’s lives. Avoid avoid avoid

We had a bit of a kwak with the first property we went for, as I think things had been a bit rushed (the property was not 100% available for renting, ended up loosing the property and we still paid deposit and completed forms, but all money was returned). Avoid this real estate agent at all costs. Having to move house is stressful enough but add in KHF and you're in for nightmare. Google should allow for negative star reviews. Lift your game.

Our sale was managed by Jamie Crowder at first and then Priyesh Barot, with no real explanation as to where Jamie went.
Priyesh and his colleagues repeatedly gave misinformation to our buyer, — told her we had no chain when we'd made it clear we were buying a flat (which was chain free — perhaps that was the confusion, but it's really not complicated!), then told her we were happy to leave it vacant before we'd completed our purchase (also not true). This cause us much stress as we were worried she might pull out, as we knew KFH would make it seem like our fault to her. Then — the final straw! — told her on completion day that we were out and gave her the keys before we had finished and locked up! She literally turned up WHILE WE WERE CLEANING. Hugely embarrassing, but luckily she was reasonable and had only turned up to drop a few things and then move in later.
KFH were more expensive than their service warranted. They did get our flat sold in the end, but after we'd already gone with another agent due to lack of activity from them. The sale only happened because of a previously interested party losing another purchase elsewhere and coming back to ours after we'd gone to another agent.
Considered giving 2 stars as they were friendly, but these are really basic things that needn't have happened, hence just 1 star — there is no need to mislead buyers just to tell them what they want to hear. It only creates stress and frustration when the truth then appears.

This year, my girlfriend and I bought a property in Peckham through KFH. We were first-time buyers and did not know the first thing about buying property. KFH were friendly and extremely helpful, both from their estate agency help (from Michael) and also from their mortgage advisor (Trevor).

Found the process to be smooth, which was reassuring, as was rather stressed about the move.
Ended up with rent which I'm pleased with and all negotiation and transactions were handled extremely competently.
