I moved into my flat rented through Knight Frank at the end of September 2023. Up to now, I’ve experienced few issues related to the flat (broken dishwasher, broken fan, electricity issues..) and I’m very sorry to admit that the property manager that has been assigned to our flat, Fahmida Rouf, has never showed any effort and interest in solving our problems within a decent amount of time. Due to her completely careless and negligent behavior, I experienced multiple negative consequences: the dishwasher broke mid October 2023 and has been fixed after multiple emails and attempt from me in February 2024; the bathroom fan broke and took a whole month and a half to be repaid (the bathroom doesn’t have a window) and I’m experiencing extremely high electricity bills on which I asked advices and I haven’t received any form of support on. I would like to add that I’m an international student which moved to London for studies purposes and after we were asked to pay the annual rent amount in advance (more than £25,000), I was expecting a totally different treatment from Knight Frank. Given my terrible experience, I won’t rent anything else from this ‘agency’ ever again.

I have used Knight Frank for several decades to find a tenant for my flat and, for the past 5 years, to manage the tenancy. They have always been excellent on finding good tenants.
But the quality of day-to-day management seems to have slipped in the last couple of years. There is more churn of the people at the other end of the email, more contracting out and, I suspect, larger workloads. I used to have total confidence in them; now I have to monitor and chase up quite a lot.

This is the worst estate agency I ever come across. Very poor service provided please stay away. We had a Manager assigned to deal with our property, her name is Shikena Goode and she is being very unprofessional and bullying us and not returning our deposit despite I have followed all the guidelines ! I am intending to make a complaint to how this agency was treating me as a tenant and especially now by holding my money and not wanting to return my deposit because apparently the email from council to collect some bulky items is not enough as they want an email from council on headed paper!! Of course Shikena is trying all she can to keep my money and she is not returning my deposit! This is so rude and I will report her and this agency on how they treat their tenants!!

And I am sure many of you have same experiences... but Peter is different. He understands his role and knows how to work with his clients. And I really appreciated his honesty and consideration.

Worst experience with an estate agent in London I've ever had. Reliably unreliable. From lettings to property management, staff consistently are hard to get in touch with and it's even more difficult to get anything done - maintenance to property was always a much bigger issue than it needed to be and lack of communication continues to be a huge problem when trying to resolve the deposit. Seems like there is very high staff turnover also and this, combined with the noticeable disregard of tenants and issues with the property, suggests poor management. Glad to be leaving my tenancy with Knight Frank Wapping.

It was a pleasure to work with Kim Williamson and Knight Frank in the lead up to exchange on our property. Kim was very responsive and proactive on our behalf, diligently working to liaise between both the Seller's and our solicitors and always keeping us updated with what was going on. There were several complications that arose due to communication issues between the solicitors and delays on the part of the managing agents, resulting in a high level of stress for all parties involved. Kim conscientiously followed up with all of the parties and devised a work-around solution to ensure that we could exchange on time. Our overall experience with Knight Frank has been very positive and we would be happy to recommend both Kim and Knight Frank to our friends.

Happy to recommend Lee O'Neil at Knight Frank without hesitation after buying a flat with his considerable help. Lee clearly knows the market and the Wapping area extremely well but what stood out for us was Lee's activity - very busy but very accessible and constantly looking to push things forward and make the process as easy as possible for us and the sellers. When the deal hit a potential problem near the end Lee was calmness personified and wonderfully pro-active. Very professional and a pleasure to work with in getting our purchase over the line. I note that there are some positive reviews on this site but on the other main estate agent site others have shared their negative outcome with the Knight Frank Wapping office. It appears their sales team may be good but not so much the letting team. I really don’t know where to start as we should have parted ways with this agency sooner in relation to my flat letting. These include having a tenant move into my property without a signed agreement or references, delayed rent impacting my mortgage payments and the list goes on. My main feedback is that the office seems to have many new faces, too many people involved with one not knowing what the other one has said or collected, an inability to offer any apology or goodwill gestures for trouble caused and a firm insistence on ensuring above all else their fee is obtained. Even if this means not getting documents over in a timely fashion for people to have time to review and pulling tactics such as saying tenants are outside waiting with suitcases with no where to go to get the “deal sealed” and their fee. I don’t see a focus on the customer or doing the right thing but rather on “fee first.” A change in management has also resulted in a worse service and the whole experience has been dreadful. My advice is to really check the documents before you sign to see if they include things you ask for and allow yourself the time to review. If they get things over last minute then this should be their issue to manage not yours. And speak directly to your tenants if rent is missing or other issues arise as it may well be that both parties are getting told different things. Hope this review helps anyone who is thinking of letting with this agent.

Whilst Knight Frank did not manage to find us a property, only due to the speed of the London letting scene, I was very impressed with the communication and speed at which they returned emails and messages. After little success with two other local agents we switched to Knight Frank to handle the sale of our Wapping apartment in the currently more challenged London property market. Lee O'Neill was ultimately responsible for cementing the deal at close to our asking price within three months, having been on the market for nine months previously with other agents.
