Have been with Lacy Scott for 2 years, coming onto 3. Lettings agents are great and helpful. Daniel is super nice, very professional and funny. Emails are promptly answered & accounts are good too for any questions. I choose maintenance requests through my landlady directly, but any emails are passed on and forwarded so the contractors can contact you for availability. This is the 'Fawlty Towers' of Auctions! These people are a horrible bunch to deal with when you raise a minor issue with them, even after being a loyal customer for over 5 years. I purchased several paintings within the same lot (4 in total) and all that was handed over to my couriers were 2 of the smaller pictures and the canvas/inner frame of another - see images. When I noticed their mistake, that's okay, I thought, a very simple human error to resolve, yes? Wrong! When I raised the issue with them, they did nothing more than lie, avoid and defend, even suggesting at one point that they had CCTV showing their lad handing all of the items over to my couriers. When I disputed this by providing my own evidence showing my courier being handed just part of 1 picture, they completely blanked me. They refused to hand over the supposed CCTV of their team handing over the pictures, too. You would think we were talking about a large sum of money, right? Wrong, again! We are talking about an issue that amounts to no more than £139 which I think is a testament to how nasty and dishonest they are. I am leaving this review out of principle, as I couldn't care less about the 139 quid. I deal with auctions all over the country daily, and 99.9% of them are excellent. This minor issue would have been an easy and honourable one for them to resolve. This was completely unnecessary and the Directors of this auction should be ashamed of themselves, the lying, deceitful lot!... Read more

I've had a great experience renting with Lacy Scott and Knight! All the way from the start, Diana was very helpful and eased me into the tenancy. Throughout the term, any maintenance issues were acted upon really promptly and when I got to the end of the tenancy, Daniel has been great, keeping me informed throughout the process, as well as they release the deposit very swiftly without prolonging the process.
