Very disappointing service I went to the office to offer my property to let. The agent took one look at me and assumed I was a tenant He did not ask me to sit and took more interest in correcting my English pronunciation ( even though I am born and educated in the UK) He then said he was too busy to assist but would call on the next working day He did not call or make any attempt to contact me. Absolutely the best estate agent experience I've ever had. Not only did David and his team manage my flat in West Ken superbly over a 10yr+ period, they also helped me to sell it for a very good price in the midst of a global pandemic, without any major hiccups, succeeding where two other estate agents in the area had failed miserably. Their competitors Dexters (the biggest estate agent in the area) had kindly arranged over 75 viewings of the flat during a 12 month period, without any buyers committing to the sale. It was when I enlisted Lawson Rutter's help at about the 9 month mark (on a multi-agency basis), that things rapidly improved. David Harbottle seized the bull by the horns and quickly found an interested buyer, and then did a first rate job keeping me up to date with all the communications, keeping the buyer fully on board and engaged, and ensuring everything ran smoothly throughout the process of exchange / completion. All of this throughout a very difficult market greatly exceeded my expectations so I am absolutely delighted to have worked with Lawson Rutter in the sale. With hindsight I should have appointed them on a sole (not multi) basis - this was a good lesson learnt for next time! Huge thanks to David and all the team at Lawson Rutter.... Read more

Arrived promptly at a property that I was hoping to rent only to wait ten minutes, call them myself and be told, "Sorry, we don't have a key to the front door." I wasn't even given a phone call before that to let me know... On top of that, I was told my booking wasn't recorded. The agent I spoke to on the phone then tells me I'd have to reschedule my viewing but instead of asking when I'd like to reschedule, concludes the call with, "Thanks, bye." I was looking for a flat to rent and wanted to set up viewings through their website - there is such a possibility, which is nice. What is less nice is that it doesn't work at all, I didn't get any response for a few viewings, only after a few days I was contacted with totally different flat.
